Joshua parked the car, and Tyler got out slowly, observing his new surroundings as Joshua grabbed both of their bags in one hand. He reached his other one out to Tyler, who quickly strutted towards him and easily slid his hand into Joshua's. It still made his heart skip a few beats every time.
They walked in, hand in hand, and stepped towards the frontdesk. Tyler hid halfway behind Joshua, holding his big hand in the both of his own, fumbling with the fingers.

"Hi. We want to check in please," Joshua started, the woman behind the desk throwing them a weird look. Her eyes shot from Joshua, to Tyler, to how the boy was holding Joshua hand. "Name, sir?" Joshua narrowed his eyes slightly, noticing the judgemental look, and noticing Tyler squeezing his hand. "Dun", he answered coldly.

"Oh, I see, one night reservation", she mumbled, clicking and gazing at the computerscreen. "Oh, there's a double bed in that room, not two separate beds. Obviously must've been a mistake. I can change the reservation for you?" Joshua sighed, annoyed, trying to stay friendly and not make a scene, not with Tyler being with him.
"Double bed is fine. Even though we won't need all the space, as he will probably sleep pretty much on top of me anyway." Joshua answered in an over-friendly way, acting as if it was the most casual thing to say. Her eyes grew wide for a second and a soft gasp left Tyler's lips, his cheeks coloring from what his boyfriend just said. Joshua winked at him playfully.

She huffed arrogantly, her face resembling rejection. "Here's your key, room 912, 9th floor, enjoy your stay." She rambled, not even bothered to look at them anymore.
Joshua reached down to grab the bags again, and just as he wanted to walk off Tyler turned to the lady behind the desk quickly. "Y-you just c-could've b-been nice, y-you know." He spoke with a little huff.
The woman's looked up, red blotches appearing in her neck and her eyes quickly focussing back onto the computerscreen.

Joshua's jaw dropped before a huge grin appeared on his face. He dragged Tyler with him into the elevator, pressing the 9 and waiting for the doors to close. "Who was that?" he laughed, dropping the bags to the floor and pulling Tyler closer. The boy's cheeks were still heavily colored, and he pressed his face into Joshua's chest. "Idontkknow" he mumbled into the fabric, Joshua still laughing.
"S-sorry?" Tyler asked as he pushed back a little.

The doors opened, Joshua grabbing their bags again before they headed out. "Are you kidding me? Ty, baby, that was great. Did you see her face? Priceless." He unlocked the room with the card they got, opening the door for Tyler to enter. "Just, I don't know, I didn't expect you to do that", he grinned.

He dropped the bags as he kicked the door shut, unzipping his winter coat before sliding it off of his shoulders. "Who would've thought", he started as he grabbed Tyler's coat and pulled the boy closer to him. He stared into the, now all shy again, boy's eyes, unzipping his coat. "Who would've thought my cute, adorable, shy, quiet boy", Joshua kissed Tyler's face in between every word, "could be so sassy."

Joshua's hands slid into his coat, over his shoulders, pushing the thick clothing off. Tyler shrugged bashfully. "S-she was just m-mean, a-and I don't w-want people t-to be mean to y-you either." Joshua's hand got a strong hold in the boy's neck, pulling him closer. "You're cute", he spoke softly before pressing a long, loving kiss onto Tyler's lips, making his knees tremble. He pulled away shortly before doing it again. And again. And maybe again.

"Okay. So let's unpack a bit, change if we need to, then we're going out to get some food and off to the venue." Joshua suggested. Tyler nodded, and opened his bag to get his little bag with toothbrush and all towards the bathroom while Joshua pulled some clothes out of his own bag. Tyler stood in front of the sink and mirror, slightly forgotten about his bruises and make up. He unzipped the little bag, not noticing Joshua coming into the bathroom.
He got out his toothbrush, before he noticed something he didn't recognize and he took it out.
His eyes grew so big they nearly popped out of his head, he gasped and he immediatly dropped the package into the sink. His eyes shot to Joshua, hoping he hadn't noticed, but ofcourse he had. Ofcourse Joshua noticed Tyler's now full-on red face and neck, and he glanced over the boys shoulders. He laughed when he saw the little package of condoms in the sink.
He laughed, Tyler embarressed to death, even more with Joshua laughing. What would Joshua think of him!? He didn't do this! Joshua would think that he wanted to do that and that he... oh god.

"Your mom did that?" Joshua asked, still chuckling as he grabbed the package and twirled it between his fingers. Tyler couldn't speak, he just nodded frantically, his face melting off. Joshua chuckled a few more times before kissing Tyler's cheek. "Don't worry 'bout it", he spoke before getting his arm over Tylers shoulder, looking at him through the mirror. "We won't be needing those, I know you're not ready for that." He winked as he kissed atop Tyler's head. "We'll just keep them for some day later."

They sat down at a little pizzaplace, near the venue they had to be later. Tyler ordered pasta, just poking his fork in it, not really eating.
"What's wrong, Ty? Nervous?" Joshua asked carefully. Tyler nodded, he was scared to go into the crowd, but he didn't want to disappoint Joshua. "If you really don't want to go, we can still cance-." "No, n-no! I'm j-just nervous", Tyler replied, already feeling guilty for Joshua possibly giving up on seeing his favorite band because of him. "Okay. We got this, alright? It's you and me", Joshua answered as he brushed some sauce off of Tyler's lips with his thumb. "You a-and me", Tyler repeated. He liked the sound of that. Made him feel invincible. Joshua smiled at him softly. "Yeah."

They entered the venue, a lot of people already there. As soon as they had they tickets checked they went to the bar and Joshua got them some water. "We'll just stay near the side okay? It'll be a little less crowded." So they made they're way over to a spot near the side with a good view onto the stage. Joshua never let go of Tyler's hand, as he had promised.

There was music playing, a song suddenly reminding of something. He chuckled. "You hear this song?" Tyler nodded, but he didn't recognize it. "Wait, I have to record a bit and send Brendon", he mumbled as he recorded a part. Within no time Brendon texted back and Joshua laughed. "Brendon hates this song." Tyler was a little jealous at how well Brendon and Joshua knew each other and all the history they had together, but also curious . "W-why?"

Joshua looked back at him, putting his phone away. "Brendon and I kissed once, and then this song was playing", he laughed. Tyler's eyes grew big. "Y-you and Brendon? B-but..." Joshua grinned while shaking his head. "Brendon isn't gay. But he was curious what it would be like to kiss a guy." Joshua shrugged. "I was 17, Brendon 18, we knew each other for 6 months maybe? He would always have different girls, always more then one, it was terrible. One night he was drunk, and he wondered if it was different to kiss a guy. I was like 'well, let's find out'." Joshua shook his head at the memories.

"D-did he like it..? D-did you..?" Tyler asked hesitantly. "Nope", Joshua answered clearly. "He ordered a drink right after to flush", Joshua laughed. "And me? Well I didn't care much for it, to be honest. I mean, it wasn't terrible because Brendon was my friend but I didn't like him like that."
Tyler chuckled, slightly relieved by Joshua not really liking it.
"D-did you have a-a lot of b-boyfriends? O-or just, y-you know.." Tyler started, but regretring it immediatly because he wasn't sure he wanted to know the answer.

Joshua caught his eyes and shook his head. "I never really had a serious boyfriend. Like you." Tyler's heart melted slowly. "I mean I guess I sort of dated a few guys, or hooked up, but it all was meaningless really." Tyler wasn't sure that was all of the story, but he decided this wasn't the time to ask more. And to his luck, just before Joshua could start asking him questions, the lights dropped and music started. The show was about to begin.

They turned towards the stage, Joshua standing just behind Tyler, their hands still connected firmly. "If you don't feel good, tell me", Joshua spoke against Tyler's ear as it got a little more crowded because of people wanting to get closer to the stage. Tyler smiled softly, "you a-and me." Joshua kissed him briefly. "Exactly. You and me."

As the first few songs played, they just randomly moved to the music, Tyler looking back ever so often to see Joshua would always be right by his side. He knew, ofcourse, since their hands were nearly glued together, but he just needed to check. And, aside from that, he loved seeing Joshua's big smile as he watched his favorite band play.
