Tyler:
Hi! Is Doodle back yet? I keep thinking of her. And did the show go well, I forgot to ask, sorry I was so nervous for calling last night.

The boy stretched and turned to his back, dropping his phone back on the bedside table. He thought about how the little cat would be lost in the cold, the snow and he shivered. He really hoped she was at home.

💕💕Joshua💕💕:
No :(. M gonna look down the neighbourhood in a bit to find her.

💕💕Joshua💕💕:
Oh the show was fine, good crowd.

Tyler:
I want to help! I'll be outside in 30 minutes!

Tyler jumped out of his bed, quickly getting dressed in a black skinny jeans and the thickest hoodie he owned. He quickly brushed his teeth and ran downstairs. "Tyler! Easy now, no running inside the house!" His mom yelled from the livingroom when he made a sliding into the kitchen. "Sorry momma!" He answered as he quickly threw two pieces of bread in the toaster. His mom peeked into the kitchen soon after. "What has you in such a hurry?"
"D-Doodle is m-missing and we're going t-to look for her." His mom smiled. "Dress up warmly if you're going to be outside for a long time." Tyler just nodded, his mouth full with big bites of toast.

"Hi!" Tyler exclaimed happily as Joshua opened the front door. "Tyler? How? It's like, only 15 minutes after you texted", Joshua yawned. Tyler felt a little embarresed, Joshua was still in a shirt and sweatpants, partly still chewing a mouthfull of food. The boy chuckled. "O-oops. I J-just wanted t-to find D-Doodle."

Joshua laughed, and wiped his mouth before kissing Tyler on the cheek and pulled him inside. "Hm. Missed you", he mumbled before closing the door again. Tyler blushed.

"Alright, i'm gonna get dressed. I'll be back in a minute." Tyler nodded. "I'll J-just w-wait here. Don't w-want t-to take my b-boots off." He replied, watching Joshua as the man ran up the stairs. His cheeks heated up so bad when Joshua pulled off his shirt over his head before walking in to his bedroom and Tyler felt caught staring at something he shouldn't have seen. It was very, very pleasant to see though, and his mind travelled back to when he secretly watched Joshua fix the faucet at Tyler's house. The freckles. All those tiny little spots covering his arms and shoulders and, as he found out then, his back too. Oh, how Tyler would love to touch them. Trail his fingers from one to another, seeing whatever figures he could find.

"Hellooooo?" Joshua poked Tyler's arm, making the boy jump. He looked up bashfully, meeting Joshua's eyes. "O-oh. W-what?" He smiled a silly grin, cheeks pink as he realized Joshua must've been talking to him. "Where's your mind at?" Joshua winked at him suggestively, as he put on his boots, making Tyler's cheeks only flush more. "N-nothing", he answered, a toothy smile on his face. "Right. Right." Joshua chuckled. "Alright, i'm ready." He grabbed a box of cat food. "Let's find Doodle."

"Are you cold? You look like your freezing... We should go back", Joshua said as he got a hold of Tyler's arm. "N-no, I-I'm okay, w-we still have t-to search!" Tyler shivered. He was cold. Very cold, as they searched the whole town for Doodle, without any result. "I don't want my boy to get sick again though", Joshua said as he pulled Tyler closer with his arm around the boy's shoulder, a proud little smile on the man's face. The butterflies in Tyler's stomach took off at those words and he couldn't help but smile big as he looked up. "What?" Joshua grinned. "Y-you s-said 'm-my boy' ", and he giggled softly the cold air not being the only reason his cheeks colored a dark red. "Yeah", the man sighed contently, "i'm not wrong, am I?" And Tyler shook his head as he mumbled a soft "y-your boy", and he hugged Joshua just a tiny bit tighter.

"Okay. The only place we haven't checked yet is a part of the woods. I mean we can't check the whole forest, but we could do the part close to the house?" Tyler nodded, so worried about the tiny cat. "I really h-hope we f-find her", Tyler mumbled. "And t-that s-she's okay." Joshua sighed, a worried look on his face. "Me too, Ty."
