"Its a little uncomfortable for me to stand here, while i'm used to having you in the front, and me behind my drums. I like that better," Joshua chuckled, "but i'm here, without a doubt, because you are my best friend B, and I like to think back on how we grew up together, even while we only met at 16."

Joshua smiled softly as he gazed up, seeing Brendon's soft but shining smile, next to Sarah,  who was shining. Their hands were laced together, gently resting on Brendon's leg. A little diamond shimmered in the sunlight.

Only one step behind them sat Tyler, who was watching him with his admiring brown puppy eyes. He looked so beautiful in his suit, the soft pink tie and white shirt making his golden skin almost shine more than any white wedding dress or diamond.

"B, meeting you then was the best thing that could've happened. I like to think it was at the right place and right time. I needed you. You got me out of a terribly dark place, I was angry, confused, lost, nothing like i am today. I was a complete opposite of you. Your enthusiasm and endless energy was contagious, and I cant thank you enough for that."

He took a little breath, noticing Brendon patting his hand on his heart as he looked up to him. "We connected even more when we started playing music together, and I hope we will for a long time to come."

The crowd listened, laughed at the right times at his little jokes and 'aww-ed' at some stories he told about old times, especially those about when Brendon and Sarah met. Brendon's energy and 'immortal confidence', as Joshua called it, was so overwhelming at first he only scared Sarah off and she wanted nothing to do with 18 year old Brendon. But he was persistent, eventually calming and showing the true sweet and loyal guy behind the energy and she caved. They turned out to be perfect for each other. Then and now.

He gave a little nod towards Brendon and Sarah before ending his little speech. "To many, many more beautiful years to come. Congratulations, guys."

Everyone clapped, and he took a second to let the noise die down again before speaking a last time. "Then, last but defintely not least, there's one more person that I would like to invite to come up here."

Brendon and Sarah looked around curiously, not knowing who else to expect, and their faces changed in surprise when the boy behind them stood up. Sarah gasped, clapping and doing a little cheer as Tyler got his ukelele and bashfully walked up to Joshua, who was waiting for him on stage. Immediatly the rest of the people started clapping too, Tylers cheeks flushing more.

As soon as he stepped up the little stage, Joshua reached for Tylers hand and squeezed it softly. He smiled. "You okay?" He asked quietly, and Tyler nodded a little as the applause died down. "You got this", his boyfriend reassured him before kissing his cheek and stepping off the stage, while he heard the people 'aww-ing'.

Tyler took a few deep breaths, eyes down to his hands on his ukelele, before slowly looking up. He saw a lot of people, his heart skipping a beat, nerves suddenly shooting through his fingers. But he knew this was going to happen, he prepared for it and therefor focussed.
First he saw Brendon and Sarah, both smiling big, silently cheering him on. And then he focussed on Joshua's soft supportive eyes and smile and nothing more.

"Congratulations B-Brendon and Sarah... you both l-look beautiful and I wish you all the luck and l-love in the world."

Proud of how little he stuttered, being the situation he was in, he smiled softly as his fingers slid over the strings of his uke. A last deep breath, before he started singing.
