"I m-miss you a-already", Tyler whispered against Joshua's chest. His arms were closed tightly around the yellow haired, his cheek pressed against his chest.
Joshua couldn't help but chuckle a bit at the boy's remark, but in all honestly he felt exactly the same. The past week they had spend almost every afternoon together, having dinner and just lazily hanging out (watching movies, take a walk, make music) until Tyler had to go home. And now, they were at the airport and Joshua had to let go of Tyler any second if he wanted to actually get on his plane.
"I will miss you too, baby. So much", he replied, his hand gently stroking the back of the boy's head. "But I will be back soon. Just one week. I'll be back before you know it."

Tyler swallowed, refusing to let go as he felt Joshua's grip on him loosening to end this hug. He tried to not cry, seeming pathetic to cry about his boyfriend for only leaving for a few days, but he was anxious. Scared. Joshua had become his safety so quickly and he dreaded the upcoming week without him. "You have to let go now, sweetheart, or i'm going to miss my flight", Joshua whispered, gently trying to unclasp Tyler's arms from around his waist.

Joshua had tried to convince the smaller boy to not join hin to the airport, and just to stay home and they could say goodbye there. But Tyler wasn't going to change his mind, and therefor he and his mom were here to drop him off. "Hey, look at me", Joshua spoke softly, lifting Tyler's chin up gently. "You will be okay. You can text me, call me, FaceTime me whenever you feel like it. If I can, I will answer immediatly okay? And if there's anything else, you can text Sarah or Brendon. They'll be there for you too." Tyler nodded softly, swiftly peeking over the man's shoulder, noticing his mom not paying attention to them right now. So he looked up to Joshua, still too shy to kiss him, but he knew the man would understand him in a heartbeat.

Joshua did. He held Tyler's neck, thumbs brushing just in front of his ears over soft warm, rose colored skin. Tyler's big brown eyes looked up to him expectantly, and Joshua gently pressed his lips to the younger's. It was soft and sweet and, not too sad, but maybe a little. "Love you, sweets", he whispered softly after he pulled back, and Tyler just pecked one quick kiss on the man's lips before replying a "love you too" softly. Joshua stepped back, grabbed his bag and ruffled through Tyler's hair. "See you soon!" Kelly had now joined too, giving Joshua a short hug and wishing him goodluck.

One short week. Joshua had to fly to New York City for a training, since he recently became shop manager. Tyler hated he had to go, even though it was for a positive thing. He needed Joshua here, but he felt so weak for admitting it. His anxiety was less, ever since Joshua cared for him. School was.. more safe. He just felt so much better when Joshua was near. And now he was walking away, bag casually thrown over his shoulder. Just before he went around the corner, the bright yellow hair turned once more and the man waved at Tyler. The boy waved back, blowing a kiss before the yellow was out of sight. And he sighed. His mom threw her arm around his shoulder as they headed for the exit.

Brendon
Hey Tyler! If you don't have other plans, Sarah and I wanted to pick you up tomorrow after school to get TB?

Tyler was slumped down onto the couch, he somehow managed to survive a Monday,  Tuesday ánd Wednesday at school without too much trouble. He checked the message from Brendon, and as much as he appreciated it, he wasn't sure. Weren't they just inviting him because they pitied him? Or they probably did it just because Joshua asked them to.

Sarah
Please Ty? We really want you to come. We'll be in front of your school! See ya!

Tyler sighed, still not sure, but maybe a little more eager to believe Sarah than Brendon somehow. Tyler texted them both an okay when another text came in.

Joshua
Hey! How's my favorite boy doing today? My day felt like it lasted 80 hours in stead of 8, but a bunch of us is going out to eat in a bit, so that should help. But I probably won't be texting a lot.
