Chapter 45

Sana's POV:

Jungkook: We're here

I looked out the window to see an empty beach

Sana: Wow...how come there's no one here?

Jungkook: Because I'm amazing *Smirks*

Sana: Yah!! Tell me

I jokingly smacked his arm and he laughed

Jungkook: Fine, Taehyung told me about this place.

Sana: Taehyung? But aren't you guys...you know...arguing?

Jungkook: Nah, we made up, everything's fine now. Anyways, come on, let's go!!

Jungkook dragged me out the car and led me to the seaside

Jungkook: It's beautiful isn't it?

We were both holding hands and just staring at the sea

Sana: Yeah, it is...

Jungkook then went back to the car and took out a blanket, a basket and the brown paper bag of take away from the coffee shop

He places the blanket on the ground and sits down on one side while he pats the other, gesturing me to sit down

Sana: What's this?

Jungkook: A picnic I prepared, come on, sit down

I sat down on the other side as I was told and he takes out the food, paper plates and the utensils he prepared

Sana: How did you even have time to prepare so much?

Jungkook: I have my ways *Smirks*

He then puts a candle in the middle, making the whole thing even more romantic. He hands me a sandwich and I immediately opened it

Jungkook: I made this myself, I hope you like it...

Jungkook just stares at me the whole time while I ate the sandwich. I haven't had anything since we started our dance practice, so I was starving

I finished the sandwich in a matter of seconds and sees Jungkook still staring at me. I can't help but feel my face heat up

Sana: What're you staring at?

Jungkook: You...

He moves towards me a bit more and just looks at me in the eyes

Jungkook: You're so beautiful...

He caresses my face and leans in

Jungkook: Sana, can I kiss you?

I froze, I didn't say anything, only slightly nodded my head, and before I knew it, his lips were on mine

Those lips that I have missed so much... I couldn't help but kiss back...

Only...there's still a question that I need an answer to...

I slowly pushed him away and I could see the disappointment and the confusion in Kookie's eyes

Sana: Jungkook...I'm sorry but I have to ask you... What...what actually are we? We are certainly not just friends...

Jungkook took a deep breath and smiled at me

Jungkook: I think I already made it quite clear that I want you Sana... We are certainly not just friends, and not friends with benefits either... I...I want you to become my girlfriend...

He holds out his hand and took off the ring on his finger

Jungkook: This is a ring I've always treasured. My grandpa gave me this ring before he passed away last year, he told me that this ring is something my grandma gave him and he wants me to give it to someone who I truly love...

Jungkook holds my hand and puts the ring on my index finger

Jungkook: And now that I've found the one...I want you to have it...

I looked at the ring on my finger...Is Jungkook actually giving his most prized possession to me? I've seen him wear this ring everywhere he goes, I haven't even seen him take it off before, and now he's giving it to me??

Sana: Jungkookie-

Jungkook: I want you to have it...I want you to keep it... Minatozaki Sana, will you be my girlfriend?

Sana: YES...yes I will be you girlfriend

Jungkook then jumps up like a little kid on his birthday. He then runs towards me and hugs me tightly, lifting me off the ground and kissed me

Jungkook: Minatozaki Sana...my girlfriend

Sana: Jeon Jungkook...my boyfriend
