PART 39 - TONIGHT

JIA POV

It's ALL STARS night. After all the charity games had been played, the organizers planned a thanksgiving party for the success of the said event.

The goals have been met more than what they have expected. In return, as a gratitude to the participating teams and players, this night is given for them.

I don't actually want to join the party I am just not into a party thing. I would rather go to my bed and sleep. But you know, some people eeally born to make your life miserable.

Once they are into it, they become persiatent to pest your life every now and then. The perfect example to that are my friends and teammates.

They are really pests to my life, they urge me everyday in my office just to get a yes from me to join this party. They don't stop and hesitate to bother me unless I said I will.

And hindi pa sila nakuntentong guluhin ang buhay ko, pati si Bea ginambala nila at kinulit na sumama sa party.

Yung isa wala na namang nagawa kundi ang sumunod na lang. Kaya ngayon nasa sala siya at nakaupo sa sofa while waiting for me.

JIA: "Close your mouth boo. Napaghahalata ka. Hahahaha."

Bulong ko sa tenga niya sabay  hawak sa chin para itulak at isara ang napaawang niyang mga labi.

BEA: "You look gorgeous."

JIA: "Thanks. But stop with that look it makes me uncomfortable."

BEA: "Your fault, masyado mo ginandahan. Next time, huwag naman masyado."

JIA: "Let's go, umandar kalandian mo."

BEA: "You better stay beside me the whole party or else mapapaaway ako."

I look at her with confusion, I don't understand what she means by that.

BEA: "With the way you look tonight? They will definitely be mesmerized by you and I don't want them to get near you."

JIA: "Sira-ulo. Anong pinagsasabi mo diyan. Tayo na nga at ng maka alis na. Nababaliw ka na eh."

Kaya hinatak ko na siya palabas ng bahay. Siya ang nagdrive hanggang sa makarating kami sa venue.

JIA: "Are you ready?"

Wika niya bago kami tuluyang bumaba ng kotse.

BEA: "I am ready for the party but I am not sure if I will be ready with those people who will stare and will feast at your look tonight!"

JIA: "Why?"

BEA: "I don't want them to do that?"

JIA: "Why?"

BEA: "Because my girlfriend is only mine."

JIA: "Possessive!"

Lumabas na kami sa kotse at pumasok na sa loob ng venue. As expected maraming nandun. And magulo silang lahat, kanya-kanyang trip sa buhay.

Pagpasok namin ni Bea, all eyes sila sa aming dalawa. Ang iba nagtaas ng kilay, yung iba naman iba makatingin kay Bea. Pero dedma na lang, bahala sila.

Dumiretso kaming dalawa sa table kung saan nakaupo ang mga ka teammates ko. Si Bea, hindi naman binitawan ang kamay ko hanggang sa makaupo kami.

Looking at my teammates, mukha silang mapang-asar. And the way they smirk and taas kilay sa pagdating namin, I know mang aalaska sila.

ELLA: "Woahhhh.... Kadadating lang, agaw eksena agad?! Iba talaga ang nagagawa ng yaman at ganda. Hahahaha."

TREY: "Idagdag mo pa ang may gandang gwapong kasama."
