PART 80 - GAME

JIA POV

Five months have gone by after ng pagkakabaril kay Bea. Miguel was in prisoned, at mabubulok siya sa may bilangguan for what he has done. Kaya wala na rin ang banta sa buhay naming dalawa ni Bea.

Magaling na rin si Bea and we even go out most of the time for out of town trips. And magkasama parin kaming dalawa sa condo.

She was already working at the company for a month now. She is no longer my secretary but still part of my team in the company.

I need her fresh and unique ideas in the company. Kasi given na magaling talaga siya sa business. She is not for secretarial job.

I have been busy with the company this past few months pero nahahati yun with practices for a charity game dalawang linggo na ang nakakaraan.

After two weeks of practice, ngayon na magaganap ang inaabagang salpukan. Today is the last day of the five series charity game.

And the audience were just so overwhelming sa sobrang dami. Puno ang buong MOA arena. Akalain mong parang UAAP feels lang.

Siguro they take the opportunity na rin na pumunta at manuod dahil ito na yung last charity game na gagawin in between sa rival school namin ng college pa.

And I was not just infront of a big crowd right now. But also infront of a live interview sa tv. Na on the spot kasi ako ng walang kamalay malay.

Kagaling lang kasi ng mga kaibigan ko, naghanap kasi nang kakausapin for the interview kanina, ako ang natulak dahil kararating ko lang at wala akong alam sa mga pangyayari.

Basta na lang ako tinangay ng hindi alam kung anong meron. At ang lakas pa ng tawanan nila kasi ako ang napagkaisahan. Narealize ko na lang nasa tv na ako.

Lakas talaga nila makatrip. Hindi naman ako pwede magpanic naka on na ang cam eh.

"Humanda kayo sa akin, lahat ng mga business niyo ipasasara ko." (maktol ng utak ko)

Pero sa ngayon mukhang ako ang dapat maghanda, mapapalaban ako sa interview. Si Lau kasi ngayon ang commentator kaya patay na.

LAU: "Okay good afternoon everyone. Welcome in the Battle of the Rivals. We are going live here in ABS Sports and Action. Good afternoon Anton my partner and Jia."

ANTON: "Good afternoon too Lau. And Good afternoon Jia, good to see you here with us today."

I just nodded at both of them.

LAU:  "And where so lucky to have here with us today the one and only Nootsara of the Philippine volleyball Ms. Julia Melissa Morado."

Excited at buong galak na wika niya. Kaya nagpalakpakan ang lahat nang nasa venue, naririnig din kasi ito sa venue kaya alam nila ang magiging laman ng usapan at kwentuhan.

JIA: "Thank you Lau... Grabe sa Nootsara ah... But that was my ultimate idol talaga sa volleyball."

Nahihiya pang wika ko sa kanya.

LAU: "Because you were that great Jia. You already make your mark in the Philippine volleyball just as you made your legacy in the business world. No questions with that. Your resume speaks highly of what you have accomplished as an athelete and as a businesswoman."

Ngiti lang ako kasi hindi ko naman alam paano e-counter yung ganung nakakatabang puso na comment niya about me.

Nababasa ko naman na yung mga ganung sinasabi nila noon pa pero syempre overwhelming pa rin na makakarinig ng ganun.

LAU: "Now, let's talk about the impending game today againts your rival competitors. We all know that this game is a remarkable one, aside from the fact it was crowded (hello sa mga fans). It is also the last game after 4 charitu games. And both teams won two games against each other. What can you say about that?"
