There was a crack, and the universe seemed to shake. There was another, and it shattered, glass dropped to the floor.

Suddenly, the laws of physics, of logic, of everything that kept everything in existence going, were destroyed. And the result was chaos.

Taehyung's eyes widen in shock when the room around him begins to dissolve, details blurring into a mess of colour. He glances round, the dizzying effect of the fast movement blending with whatever's happening to the surroundings, causing him to pass out, head landing safely on his pillow.

His eyes open, blearily, a few moments later, to find that he's standing up, watching something through a glass pane, an image of his boyfriend typing something into his phone, hurriedly. "K-Kook?" he murmurs, baffled. "Why can I see you? What's going on?"

"Taehyung!" The Jungkook on the other side of the glass seems worried, panicked even. His mother runs up the stairs, hearing his cries, but before she can get there, Jungkook's room begins to blend together, everything stretching in and out of focus like some sort of messed up camera effect. The overwhelmed raven haired male stares at his own hand, watching as it seems to grow right before his very eyes.

Which then roll back into his head as he passes out, head hitting the pillow similarly to Taehyung's.

The older male cries out, horrified, reaching forward as if to try and grab his boyfriend through the glass, only for his hand to become trapped in something that feels more like a strange sort of jelly or goo than a piece of glass or plastic. "What the-" he murmurs to himself, unable to understand what's happening. "I don't-"

"Fuck!" Taehyung spins round, pulling out his hand from the weird glass jelly, his eyes widening at the sight of the boy that literally just fainted in his dissolving room. "Tae? Are you okay?"

"I think so. Are you?"

"I don't know," Jungkook admits worriedly. "My room just dissolved into like nothing, it was so-"
"I know. I watched from here. It just happened to my room as well."
"What's going on?" Jungkook whispers, his hand coming to trace Taehyung's features. "Tae, I'm scared."
"I'm scared too, Kookie," the elder admits, stepping closer to his boyfriend for compete. "I don't know what's happening to us. Or why."

There's another crack, one that makes the floor beneath their feet shake as if they're in the middle of an earthquake, and Taehyung reaches for the younger. They hold onto each other desperately, not wanting to let go of each other. They don't know where they are, or why they're there. It simply doesn't make sense.

A figure appears in the corner of the room, dressed in a black suit, the face covered with a hand gloved in white. There's another crack, another shake, and another figure appears, on the other side of the room, dressed in a white suit, the face covered with a hand gloved in black.

Taehyung shivers, suddenly terrified, reaching for Jungkook's hand to hold. His boyfriend intertwines their fingers together, and they stand back to back, leaning on each other and gathering courage from each other.

"What are those-"
"I don't know," the younger replies, his voice trembling.

There's a shattering sound, a wordless cry, echoing in the distance with a strange kind of reverb, and two wolves appear in the room, snarling and shaking their heads. One is large and black, with shining red eyes, and the other is a slender silver creature with glowing eyes the colour of ice.

Jungkook takes a deep breath, trying to remain calm, as he feels Taehyung's grip on his hand become tighter. His heart rate increases, but there's something almost painful hanging in the air.
