'a fluffy oneshot where Tahyung and Jungkook are both best friends, roommates  and are in college together? Both like each other but their friends always interrupt before they can confess to each other(or something like that)'

I'll see what I can do!

"Tae, do you wanna hang out tonight, watch a film at mine?"
"Sure, I don't think I've got anything going planned. Anyone else coming?"
"Just our friends, that's all. Yoongi hyung, Jin hyung, Namjoon hyung, Hobi hyung, and Jungkook."
"Great. See you there."

I get to Jimin's house, offer a warm smile to everyone I see, and something in Jungkook's expression strikes me as odd. He seems almost nervous, as if something's going to happen, but I can't tell what it would be. But it's hardly my place to question such a thing, since I know that I'm planning to confess to him soon. I know what it's like to feel nervous.

See, I kinda have a crush on someone I've known for a million years, it feels like, a best friend that never judges me for anything. And he never figured out the truth, so I'm planning to tell him at some point soon.

If I get a chance, and there's the right environment for such a thing, of course. I'm not just going to mention it at a bad moment, that would be awkward.

I go to grab myself a drink at Jimin's invitation, before the film actually starts, and someone arrives behind me to get something for himself. "Hey, you alright?" he asks, and I realise that it's Jungkook, the person I can't stop thinking about.
"Huh? Oh, hey Kook, yeah, I'm doing alright. You?"
"Yeah, yeah, I'm surviving," he chuckles, leaning on the counter and watching as I reach up to grab a glass.

I tilt my head at him. "Did you want something to drink?" I offer, turning to the cupboard to take out a glass for him, and he shakes his head.
"I wanted to talk to you about something, actually, it's kinda important. I told myself I had to at some point. But you gotta promise you won't hate me."
"Of course not, Koo. I never would. What's up?"

He looks down at his hands, fidgeting for a moment, and then Jimin runs into the room, completely interrupting the moment without realising it. "I forgot the popcorn!" I glance over, laughing a little and shaking my head at how forgetful he can be sometimes.

"That's the most important thing, Chim, don't forget that!" He nods in agreement, rushing back out with two large bags in his hands, the door flying shut behind him. I look back over at Jungkook. "Sorry, Koo. What's wrong?"

He sighs, shaking his head. "Don't worry, it wasn't important. I'll tell you later."

I frown in confusion as he leaves the room, a disappointed expression on his face, one that doesn't fully disappear for the rest of the night. I really don't get it, but I suppose it's one of those things. Everyone's got something they worry about, even if it's something others see as small. And Jungkook is no exception.

We're in class together a few days later when he next brings it up, waiting for the rest of the class to arrive just after break. He's similarly nervous, and there's a faint pinkish tinge to his face which is never normally there. "Hey, Tae, remember that thing I wanted to talk about at Jimin's house the other day?"
"Oh yeah," I say immediately, nodding casually like it wasn't the only thing I was thinking about ever since that moment.

Seriously. Even through the movie, I couldn't focus. I wanted to understand. I was worried. And of course, I also want him to know how I feel about him as well. But I didn't want to rush him, as it was clearly something he was worried about, something he was scared of talking about. And if he wasn't ready, that was fine.
