@Karo1703 asked for ' secret assasin one? where one of Taekook have been a secret assasin for years and then suddenly have to protect the other. They could be either best friends since forever or both could be in love with each other without the other one knowing?'

Taehyung is at work when it happens.

He's a simple office worker, at the moment, though his real dream is a little more exciting than sitting in front of a computer sorting files all day. Normally, things are quiet, and sometimes his boss will come and check on everyone's work, see if everything is okay. And usually, everything is.

His colleagues are talking quietly, when they need to, and there's a faint sound of typing as various people work on whatever projects they've been assigned to. Sometimes a phone will ring, and then stop abruptly as someone answers it with the practised politeness of workers who have been trained in the art of telephone conversations. It's peaceful, and maybe it's boring, but there's a familiarity to it. And these aren't cruel people, which always helps.

It all starts with a small crash, which makes everyone in the room jump. But their boss is clumsy, and he drops things often, so nobody bothers to question it. Not until they hear the sound of a human scream.

Taehyung stands up instantly, knowing without needing to think about it that this isn't something that should be ignored. He meets eyes with a colleague, who's too frozen by fear to move, and then he glances round the room, takes in the sight of everyone still cowering in their seats, and rolls his eyes.

But before he can move, there's another crash, and then a masked figure rushes into the room, a gun held in their hand. "Put your hands up where I can see them!" they order, the voice harsh and angry, and the whole room raises hands, as required. Taehyung slides back into his seat, not stupid enough to refuse

"Who's in charge here?" the intruder demands, staring directly at everyone in the room. Silence. They swear, fire the gun at someone's computer, which shatters instantly. The woman sitting at the desk in question goes white. "I said: who's in charge here?"

"It sounds like you already dealt with them," Taehyung says bravely, and the intruder turns to stare at him specifically. But even as the masked individual watches him, he lowers one hand slightly.
"Hands up, I said!" they yell again, gesturing with the gun, and he nods, raising it back in the air. "Who is in charge in this room?"

"I'm a supervisor here," another woman says reluctantly, and the intruder spins around. Taehyung lowers both hands, grabs his phone out of his pocket, and places it on his desk, out of sight of the intruder, even as the figure turns around to check on the rest of the room.

Unnoticed, Taehyung types out a text to his best friend, informing him of the situation and asking him to call the police and an ambulance. Halfway through the message, he has to stop quickly and place the hand he's using to type in the air again so that the masked figure has no idea what he's doing.

And then he sends it, and turns his phone off completely, so that nobody can see what he's done, even if they demand that everyone hand their phones over. A mere second later, the intruder grabs a random bin, throws the balled-up paper within it over someone's desk, and demands that everyone throw their phone into the bin.

Some people are braver than others, putting up some fight, but eventually every single device is placed into the bin, Taehyung's included.

"Now that we won't be disrupted-"

And that's when the door is kicked open by another figure in black, who takes advantage of the surprise on the first intruder's face, shooting them in the stomach and then rushing over, tying their hands together behind their back, and shoving them to the floor in one swift, practised set of motions.
