@TheGayBrit asked for 'villainxhero but while Tae (hero) loves Kook, it's unrequited and Jungkook does whatever he can to stop it."Okay, choose your last words wisely.""I love you.""For fucks sake, why won't you just stop?"'
Quick warning, things do get a little heated...not all the way, no worries, but you'll see what I mean. And we've got some mean kookie in here: usual disclaimer that I don't actually think he's like that, blah blah, hopefully you know that already by now.

The building collapses in front of my eyes, and for a moment, I can't breathe. There's something so terrifying about the destruction, something so mind-blowing about the power behind the weight of thousands of bricks breaking apart into fragments. Then I take a deep breath, centre myself, and turn to try and find my adversary. I know he's around here somewhere. He has to be.

I do all I can to protect the population from crime. no matter the personal cost. But there are limits to my abilities. I can't save everyone, sometimes. And I can't help but feel a connection to the person I should hate the most. We could be something incredible, if we had the chance to be. I can feel it, almost sense it in the air when he's around.

He doesn't see it, but one day he might. And I won't give up, even if he kills me.

I run into him only a few minutes later, much to my relief and horror. He's holding up a little girl as a human shield, as a young woman watches on with fear. The police are armed, but they're not doing anything, simply because they can't. They can't risk hurting an innocent, even if it's for the good of the rest of the population.

The woman sees me first, and sighs in relief. "V! You have to save my baby! Please, you can't let her die!"
"Don't worry, ma'am. You're not gonna lose her, if I have my way," I reassure her, offering a comforting smile and then glaring over at my arch nemesis.

He's gorgeous, in his own way. Dressed in tight, black, combat gear, he stands confident in a ring of danger, completely ignoring the weapons he's being threatened with. His eyes are a dark, dangerous brown, and the belt around his waist is stacked with various explosives and gadgets. His brown hair is streaked with dark gold, and his skin practically glows in a beautiful pale gold.

"Jungkook, let the girl go. I don't know what you want, or why, but she has nothing to do with it!" I start, as firmly as I can. He raises one perfect eyebrow.
"Oh, and what will you do if I don't comply to your wishes?" he demands, a scowl marring the emotionless expression he was wearing before I turned up.
"I will do what it takes to protect the city."

He laughs darkly, without a hint of actual feeling, and I shiver at the sound. "Well then, V, if you're so brave, I'll happily fight you." He throws the girl to one side, carelessly, onto the street. She cries out in pain, and my heart twists in my chest. The woman rushes forward, helps her out of the way.

I rush forward, intending to punch him right in his handsome face, but he ducks out of the way, grabbing my fist and using it to throw me onto the floor. "Pathetic." I come at him again, this time slower, delivering a swift uppercut to his abdomen, and trying to follow through with a kick. Even as he folds over, however, he steps back so that I stumble. "You really think you can defeat me?"

I look over at the civilians, at the police, and make a decision in my mind. I can't let them get hurt, just because I can't hurt him. I'm physically capable of doing a lot of damage, but I can't bring myself to do it. Not to him. I don't know what it is about him. But I'm powerless when I'm around him.

And so I take off running through the backstreets.

Just as I expect, he follows, clearly believing that he's got me beaten. In all honesty, he has. But he doesn't need to know how I view things.
