(Hey guys, I know I said I wouldn't update on Fridays anymore and this is a one off. It's to celebrate two things: namely the comeback and the results day for England. Some are happy, some aren't. Hopefully the ending of this won't make you hate me too much though, due to the fact that this is an extra update. *hides under rock*

"Tae, what the hell happened to you? Where's Jungkook?"

I shake my head, and my best friend sighs, flicking a lock of hair over her shoulder. "Come on, tell me. There's not much I can help you with if you can't tell me what went down." I shrug nervously.
"You wouldn't believe me."

She tilts her head at me, and I shrug again. "Try me," she dares, eyes flashing with challenge, and I roll my eyes, giving in and explaining the whole situation. Everything that happened in that strange abandoned house, half an hour ago. I'm still sort of in shock, at how suddenly everything went to shit. It makes no sense.

Her eyes widen. "Is he alive?" she asks carefully. I sigh, avoiding her gaze and looking at my feet.
"I don't know, Jen, that's the issue. I have no idea whether he's alive or not. And I feel like shit for leaving him there either way, even if he told me to do so. He's my boyfriend. I should have stayed."

She shakes her head. "You could've ended up in the same state as him. He told you to leave because he wanted you to stay safe. He loves you. We both know that."
"But even so, Jen, it's my duty as his boyfriend to-"
"Listen, Tae. We would be unable to help if neither of you made it out. We'll go back there in a big group and try and find him. How bout that?"

My eyes widen. "You would do that?"

She shrugs, nodding. "You guys are like my brothers. You helped Lisa and I get together and you saved her life. I think it's only fair I help out my family, as they did for me."
"Thank you, Jennie. It means the world."

She beams, picking up her phone and texting out a message to our group chat with a large portion of our friends. "You're more than welcome, buddy. Let's get everyone ready. We'll be able to set off for the creepy house in the morning. Jungkook will be okay until then. I just want to make sure all the creepy forces at work are less powerful."

I nod in understanding, giving her a quick hug and then rushing home. If I want to be of any use tomorrow, I have to try and get some sleep. Even if I know it's impossible, without him by my side. I'm doing this for him, though. So I have to at least attempt to rest.

I meet Jennie with a large group of our friends the next day, all of us carrying electric emergency torches. One of us also has a wheelbarrow, so we can cart away any debris without as much effort. Just in case.

It made sense when we decided to bring it.

I lead the others through the garden, pushing aside various plants and thorns and other evils, ensuring nobody gets hit in the face. They follow me nervously, already knowing what happened to Jungkook and I only yesterday.

And I understand their fear. It's a little worrying, to go somewhere unsafe, where a friend was buried alive under a load of debris, only the day after that happened. But they're caring people. They don't care about the danger. They care about getting Kookie out of there.

Just like me.

"This is where the door was," I say quietly, pointing out the spot with a slightly shaking hand. "As you can see, there's a whole mess of stuff just piled on top of itself, in the doorway. Kookie knocked the door down to get in, that's why there's no door there now."
