Surprisingly, everything was going just fine. Clearly better than Ellie expected. She was having fun with Hoseok, Jimin and Taehyung while they were trying to dance to some upbeat songs. The mood was great, they were enjoying the moment until a party popper came.
"We're going home," Jeongguk's strict voice was heard as Ellie felt his hand touch her shoulder.
"Okay, go. Bye," she said, not giving a damn about him.
Ellie watched his eyes which focused on her lower back where Taehyung's hand was placed.
She looked at the hand first, realising it even was there in the first place and then looked back up at Jeongguk. It was just a second but she could see how his eyes darkened and the way he bit his lower lip.
"Your brother told me to take you home," he said with a cold voice and no emotion.
(liar)
"I am not going anywhere with you," she turned her back on him and hoped he'd get the message and leave but his hand which sneaked to her back again denied that.
"Ellie, please. Just come with me," he said in a soft voice, the one Ellie never expected to heard from this man.
If it wasn't Taehyung who told her to listen to her brother's wish and go with Jeongguk, she would have told him to fuck off and leave her alone.
She hugged the three boys goodbye and wished them good night before storming out of the room which was still packed with people. Jeongguk had to run a bit to catch up with her until they ended up in front of the warehouse.
She let him lead the way to his car and got inside, crossing her arms on her chest to make sure he knew she was pissed.
Once Jeongguk got inside right after her and told her to put a seatbelt on."Are you really gonna drive after drinking?" she judged him.
"I didn't drink anything," he said while looking right at her, his chest moving heavily. They had a weird eye contact before she looked away and stared out of the window for the whole ride.
She could feel Jeongguk's stare on her but decided to ignore his annoying ass.
Finally, one of the worst rides with Jeongguk (interesting that all of those bad ones were with him) ended when he parked the car in front of her apartment.
She had jumped out of the car, smashed the door behind her and ran inside the building and straight to the elevator. It was few centimetres left for the door to fully close when a damn foot managed to fit exactly those few centimetres and stopped the damn door in the damn closing.
"Where do you think you're going?" she snapped at Jeongguk who stepped inside the elevator.
"To make sure you get home safely," he said casually.
"Wow, how caring," she said ironically and took her phone out of the pocket to make sure he understands she's ignoring him and his stare.
She stepped out as first and acted as if he wasn't behind her and walked through the hall, stopping in front of her apartment.
She checked both pockets of her jeans but there was no sight of the keys.
"Shit," Ellie cursed and smashed her head to the door.
"Looking for this?" she looked up to see him with an outstretched hand in which was, exactly, her keys. She smashed her head back to the door and stretched her hand, to which he gave her the keys.
'Did I seriously leave it in his damn car?'
She unlocked the door and stepped inside with Jeongguk following her again (???!!!!).
