Kodaline - Brother
______Min.
He spent the whole next day looking for him. The time was running out, fast. Jeongguk was an amazing tracker, he had successfully tracked the 6 men all the way to the end of the town. He knew Busan like his own hand and he was close, he could feel it.
His own gang was surely looking for him too, trying to catch and bringh back the outsider.
The tracks lead him to an old bar. Stepping inside as carefully as he could, is hand checked the back pocket of his jeans to make sure he had his gun ready in case anything bad would happen.
The barista looks at him suspiciously when he orders a drink with his fake ID but still places a shot glass in front of him. Jeongguk keeps checking his surroundings and finally succeeds on his mission when his eyes spot a shyly smiling boy at the other corner of the room. The redness of his left cheek is still slightly visible, but not as much as before.
The boy evidently felt someone's gaze on him since he started searching the room for the pair of eyes which soon met his. They stare at each other again and Jeongguk only realises the vulnerable situation he is at when it's too late and his own gun is already pressed to his head.
"Who the hell are you and why the fuck are you staring at our Taehyung?!" the barista is pointing the gun right to Jeongguk's head.
"He knows me," Jeongguk says, a finger pointing at the red-haired boy who just passed by.
"Do you know him, Hoseok?" barista asks.
Jeongguk's eyes burn holes into him even after he shakes his head.
"No idea who that kid is."
"Fuck you," he whispers towards the boy. "I will get out of here on my own."
"Do you think I am an idiot who can't recognise a fake ID?!" the barista screams, gun constantly hitting Jeongguk's temple.
"That's exactly what I was thinking."
"Listen here you little piece of-"
"Let go of him, Shiwoo," a deep voice sounds from behind Jeongguk and he turns around to look at the owner, seeing the same grey-haired boy from yesterday.
"Look at this, Min. He has the fucking tattoo!" the barista screams, tearing Jeongguk's long sleeve shirt just above his wrist where the ink is deeply craved into his skin.
"I know. I just wasn't expecting him to find us first. It's nice to see you again, Jeongguk."
________
"First, let me apologise for the barista. He can be quite...overprotective over our youngest. Do you have any questions?" the man asks, sitting down on the chair on the opposite side of Jeongguk.
