I am not gonna tell you how many times Ellie reminded herself of how wrong all of this was.
And neither am I gonna tell you how furious Jeongguk is at her for...well for rushing away, I guess? No one ever knows what's going on inside his head anyways.
Ellie's already in a taxi. Her head is leaned against the window as she's looking outside at the passing trees. She's still well aware of the burning feeling at the bottom of her lungs, jealousy.
Her phone buzzes in her lap again.
Reading the messages, she doesn't reply. Not because she wants to ignore Jimin as well, but because she doesn't know what to reply.
When her phone buzzes again just a minute later, and continues vibrating, she looks at the screen and sees the upcoming call from Jimin.
"How mad is he from zero to ten?"
"Ellie? I didn't think you'd pick up!"
"Tell me."
He seems to be thinking as he stays quiet for a while.
"I'd say he's a light 7."
"That's fine."
"No, Ellie seriously. He's gonna go crazy if you don't tell him where you're hiding."
