Chapter 34

"Katerina Anderson?" I hear Mr Wright say as I speed walk into the room

"I'm here" I rush to my seat, relieved to be seating after nearly dropping all my things when I ran to this room.

"Cutting it close huh Katerina?!" He says and everyone stares at me from my seat

  "I know, I'm sorry. It won't happen again" I tell him and he sends me a reassuring smile.

I look over at Violet and her eyebrows are raised and I'm pretty sure if she raises them anymore, they'll go through the ceiling.

What's up? She mouths the words and I just roll my eyes and turn toward the front of the class.

The entire class I thought about the dream I had. What I didn't understand was why it bothered me so much that it was Levi as the killer and not Daniel Gregg? Or why it seemed so real? Like every part of me knows that something isn't right between me and Levi.
He adores you Kat, why are you being like that?  My mind thought, but the only answer I could come up with was that I had no idea.

After that class was over, we headed straight for Chemistry. I was relieved I wasn't late for that class. Although the dream hardly crossed my mind, we didn't do much in that class. That was also a big relief.

"So are you gonna tell me what the hell happened? Your never late to class Kat" Violet stammered.

"That's the thing, I don't know what happened. I had this crazy dream" I told her, clutching my books tighter to my chest.

"Crazy enough for you to be late to class?"

"Yeah" I swallow and we head for the food court to grab out lunch before heading outside.

She holds the door open for me and I step outside to the courtyard. When we get to the table, my eyes scan the yard. But when they land on a light blue pair, I instantly know who it is. Victoria. Before I break eye contact with her she looks at me and shakes her head and smirks like shes got something up her sleeve.

I sit down and put my books inside of my backpack.

"Hey Monica, Ali, Jason" I smile toward them and open my bottle of water so I can drink some. It's really hot out today.

They say their hi's and start talking about when the next time we'll be able to go out to the mall and about parents weekend this week.

"Yeah, I guess I could invite Anthony this weekend. If he's able to come" Violet says and everyone looks at her.

"Is that the guy you keep talking to on the phone Vi?" I say and look at her after putting a piece of orange into my mouth.

She goes silent and runs her hand through her hair. I can tell she's nervous and her cheeks turn a bright red.

"Yeah, that's him. I know I should've told you but-" she starts

"Are you crazy? That's your business, not mine" I tell her and smile.

"Speaking of business, where's your hottie of a boyfriend Kat?" Ali looks at me.

"Yeah, you haven't been with him all morning right?" Monica sits up straight in her seat

I nod. That fact that I haven't seen Levi all morning makes me nervous but seeing him and thinking about the dream I had last night, makes me want to vomit.
