I had been determined to freshen up so as soon as everyone left and my friends felt it was time to settle, everyone except Violet, I came up to the room. She came back to the room with me just to ask if she could spend the night with Anthony. It was completely unreasonable of her to ask me, I guess she just figured since it was basically our last day before packing all our things and heading home, that she should ask."Katerina I'll be back in the morning, I'll just take a couple things with me" she gathers her clothing and essentials to take with her. I smiled as she packed, she went on and on about coming back and waking early and things like that.
"Vi, you don't need my permission to stay with him. It's fine always," I grabbed my things also, I wanted to shower before bed.
"What about Lev? Could he not stay?" She asked me.
I froze for a minute thinking about what she asked. If I had to be completely honest, I'd love for him to stay just to have him with me after being away for so long. I'd do anything but then it would lead to something else. Things that I'm not even sure is a good start to being back together.
"No, he couldn't he said he had to leave to take care of some stuff" I shook my head while explaining.
She stopped for a minute after throwing her things on the bed, "you believe that Kat? Aren't you the least bit curious as to why he didn't want to stay?"
I pushed my lips together and shrugged, her eyebrows expand to the ceiling.
"Or do you not want the sex?" She smirks, "I'd never turn it down when it came to my boyfriend"
"Tmi Violet," I chuckled to myself, "and it's not that, trust me"
"Then what's the problem?" She folds her arms.
"Nothing," I look over at her, she studies me for a minute and I begin to grow nervous. My heart speeds
"Aren't you supposed to be leaving? He's waiting for you outside you know" I smile and head over to the window. Moving the curtain to the side, I look down at him leaning on his car waiting for her.
"Yeah yeah" she gathers her things into a big bag and heads for the door. I stride over to her, she turns around to hug me.
"Vi, it's one night" I tell her
She sniffs, "no its not" her eyes search my face when she pulls away from me. I wonder what it is that's putting her on edge.
"Its the whole break before next semester" she finishes.
I smile, "aww Vi, its okay" I try swallowing the emotion she caused. It really is going to be a long break.
"You don't live far though" I chuckle trying to lighten the mood, "I can come here anytime"
"Right, sorry I forgot. I had fun today, still I'm not looking forward to tomorrow but today was great"
"Yes it was thanks to you, I love you so much. Your such a good friend I could never replace you" I nod.
She said her goodbyes before I shut the door behind her. I lean on it and think about what she said again, of course I would want Levi to stay. I feel like if he did, he would do anything in his powers to make me feel better than I already do in some loving way. I bite my lip, thinking about it.
Maybe if he had, I'd actually enjoy just the familiar company all night long.
I shake my head and slowly walk over to the bed to grab my things, I head to the bathroom to take my shower and wash my hair. I turn on the water and get undressed before I step in, the necklace Levi brought for me is placed on the sink. The hot water immediately steams the entire bathroom filling it with smoke and mirror goes complete blurry unable to see my reflection through it.
