The ambulance pulls up to the venue. Rushing in they take my limp girlfriends body onto the stretcher and they pull it into the truck.
I get into the truck behind them and we pull off onto the road leading to the emergency room.

We pull into the emergency room parking lot and the open the back doors. I jump out of the truck and stand to the side shaking as they take Billie out.
The push her into the hospital and into a hallway and when I try to go further I am stopped by these men in back clothes.
"I'm sorry ma'am you can't go back there" the day holding there hands out stopping me.
"and you need to let me go through! That's my fucking girlfriend for god sakes!" I scream pushing and shoving then but they don't budge at all.
"Claudia, Claudia, Claudia." Finneas says grabbing me and throwing me over his shoulder.
"Please I just wanna see her please" I say weakly as is cry into his back.
He sits me down and shushes my while stroking my hair and holding me tight.
"I should have never left her Fin." I say crying out loudly.
"you didn't know that this was gonna happen." He says stroking my face
"is she gonna die Fin" I say looking up she him with my red/hazel eyes.
"absolutely not Claudia. She'll be okay. She's strong" he says his eyes tearing up slightly.

After a full night at the hospital and a couple hours in the morning we are finally able to see Billie. I grab my sweatshirt and slip it over my hair and readjust my messy bun and walking down the hall following behind the doctor. We soon stop at a room and I see her. She looks dead but the heart monitor says otherwise. The monitor beeps steadily signaling that her heart beat is on track just at the slightest.
I walk over to the corner and grab a chair scooting it closer to her bed. I start tearing up but the doctor says to try not to be upset around her because she can hear everything but she just can't react to things just yet such as opening her eyes or even talking.
I take her hand in mine and began to speak.
"Hey baby" I start.
"I'm so sorry that this happened and I wasn't there to help you. I just want you to be okay. You remember the other day you were just talking about wanting a dog. If you wake up I swear baby we can go get the dog right now please just don't leave me here by myself. Please" I cry out.
Then it happens. Maybe it's just because I flinched a little bit, but I could have sworn I felt her squeeze my hand.
"Baby can you do that again" I say picking her hand up off the bed. She squeezes again and I'm honestly so elated right now.
"I think she is fully awake now. We're gonna get her checked up and she will be right back" the doctor says pulling her bed out and into another room. I exit the room she was in and I walk back to the waiting room to see Fin, Maggie, and Patrick sitting on the couches. I walk over to them and they soon notice me.
"sooo what happened" Finneas asks
"let's just say she's getting a check up" I say sitting down

They take me back into the room and I sit down looking at Billie who is just staring at the ceiling.
She notices me and gives me a bright smile like what happened in the last 48 hours didn't occur. That's what I love about Billie. She always makes the best out of things. I smile back and sit into the chair I was in before.
"I still want my dog" she says laughing.
