I knew that her parents weren't gonna be home before I texted her. About 2 weeks ago I was writing a song with Finneas and we reached the last verse. I went with the first thing I was thinking about.

"Billie? You okay?" Finneas says waving his hand in front of my face as I stare at the window seal.
"Yeah I cool just thinking" I shrug
"About?" He questions
"you really wanna know?" I say looking at him as he sits up in a more comfortable position.
"Well I mean you are my little sister. Come on you can tell me anything" he says reassuringly
"It's Janese. Finneas I think I love her." I say looking down.
"Well of course you love her you guys are best friends." He laughs
"no i mean like in love with her" I say blankly.
"oh...OH!" He says finally catches on.
"and I don't know what to do" I say rubbing my temples harshly
"go tell her billie" he says grabbing my hands and setting my them down.
"really" i ask
"yeah and you should get something for her... just saying." He says as I slam the door shut and get into my car. I drive to the nearest diamond store and make my way in.
"Hello ma'am can I help you with anything?" The man in a tux asked
"Yes I'm looking for a promise ring"
