"What? I thought you were coming home today?" Jungkook asked, surprised.

I bit my bottom lip, shaking my head. "I was, but you see, I need to have one more day here. I still have unfinished business--"

"B-but doll, I have to go home today . . ." he mumbled in disbelief, looking downwards.

I, too, was sad. But c'mon, he practically escaped his company to be here. He shouldn't risk anything because of me.

"Hey, it's alright. It's just a one-day extension, we can meet up when I get back to Seoul."

"Woah, woah, woah," he paused, smiling. "Is that a date I hear?" He leaned in, and so our faces were closer. Damn, didn't he suddenly become bold?

Rolling my eyes, I pushed his face away using my palm. "I am not asking you out on a date, Jungkook. It's just a hangout, like what we used to do as friends."

"Friends?" Jungkook scoffed. "Doll, we both know that we can't stay as friends."

Arching an eyebrow, I made my way to my room, and he followed me. He closed the door behind him, and I started to grab his shirts and his other things.

"We can," I quipped. "We did it before, didn't we? So we can hangout as friends again."

Jungkook shook his head, and seemed determined. "Do you really think that what he have, is really something that friends would have? Only friends, that is?"

"No," I shook my head, "we're bestfriends."

He lips stood agape, unable to believe what I was muttering. I actually know that we can't stay as friends, after everything? I guess not anymore. I just really like teasing him like that, and besides, I never back down from a fight.

"Are you serious right now?" he exclaimed.

Shrugging, I giggled as I started folding his clothes, and neatly placing them in his bag. He looked at me, pursing his lips.

"Okay, I told you to stop being so wife-material, remember? God, if I had a ring with me, right now."

A/N: A ring, you say? 👀✨

"You better prepare, you might miss your flight, ticket prices aren't a joke," I told him, standing up.

He seemed unsure, and he seemed anxious, too. "What's on your mind?" I asked, tilting my head. He looked at me, a few seconds with his mouth ajar, processing what he was going to tell me.

"I'm worried for you, you know? If I go back to Seoul, you won't be able to call me just as that if you need help. We don't even know what would happen for at least an hour if I left you here alone!" he exclaimed, a bit overreacting, though I admired his concern.
