It's December, and BLACKPINK finally has some time off before they fly off once again to complete their tour. I became hopeful after hearing this news, but it crumbled once I found out that we cannot spend their week off with BLACKPINK.

We always spend Christmas Eve with each other, and spend at least two or three days with their family before Christmas.

And, tomorrow was the day that I had to travel to Busan to spend some quality time with my family. I wanted to bring Lisa along, however, she's in Thailand.

It's too bad that I can't escort her there, though. But I was relieved to know that Bambam came along - there I knew that she was safe. . .

Though I have have some minor doubts.

"A boy, a girl, together all the way to Thailand. C'mon, don't tell me I'm the only one who's worried here!" Sydney whined.

I sighed, focusing on the road. I'm here, driving us to the nearest bakeshop so Sydney and I can reserve a cake before we head to Busan tomorrow. Yes, I'm taking my cousin with me.

Unfortunately.

"Syd, they're like siblings. Why would neither of us be worried?" I tried to calm her down.

I never should've told her that Lisa's with Bambam. Well, she knew about Bambam going home, but she didn't know about Lisa going with him.

"Sure, they treat each other as siblings, but can we check the fact that both of their families are in favour of them?"

Sighing once again, I took a swift turn before I answered her. "I thought you and Lisa were okay now? You two even played video games in my dorm for Pete's sake."

"Of course we're okay, but can't I help it? When Bam introduced me to his parents, I think they were comparing me to Lisa," she began to pout.

Well, guess we really are cousins. Same situation for me with both of Lisa's dads. They seem to be in favour of Bambam, even though they told them several times that they'll never work.

"Look," I mumbled, pulling up just in front of the bakeshop before I snapped my head at my cousin. "I visit Lisa's family once or twice every two months, with or without her. At first, I was hopeless. But Lisa told me not to worry, and soothed me, telling me that they'll like me. Now, I can see how my efforts payed off."

Sydney's forehead creased, leaning forward, intrigued. "How did you know?0

I chuckled, removing my seat belt and and rummaged through my things to find my bucket hat and mask. "They're starting to open up. They mention Bambam, of course. But not in a way that they find them a candidate for Lisa's possible boyfriend."
