"I thought it was over." Peter whispered to Tony.

"We all thought it was over." Tony choked out. "We were wrong."

"He's back and he's stronger than ever, Tony! What do you expect us to do?!" Sam yelled, holding Tony up by his collar. "He'll come for us, and he'll stop at nothing until he gets what he wants!" Sam released Tony and shoved him into the wall.

"I don't know what to do..." Peter told MJ. "He's coming for me, he'll kill me." Peter sobbed quietly into her shirt.

"People will die." Natasha mumbled. "We can't escape it this time, Clint."

"We have to try!" Clint retorted. "I'm not going to sit back and let him pick us off one by one!"

"We're Earth's mightiest heroes..." Steve grabbed his hair. "And yet we can't even protect ourselves."

"It'll be alright." Bucky reassured him.

"YOU DON'T KNOW THAT!" Steve screamed. "You don't know that..."

"...Ned?" Peter whispered, staring at the mangled corpse on the floor.

"SHOW YOURSELF!" Peter screamed, frantically shining his flashlight in different directions.

"Wh-Who are you?!" The police officer asked, backing away in fear.

He smirked.

"My name is Joshua Mohr." He smiled sweetly. "And you're in my way."
