Drip
Drip
Drip
The sound seemed to be endless. It was invading his body, his mind, his thoughts.
Drip
Drip
Drip
With each drip he felt himself falling, sinking, drowning. He couldn't move, he couldn't breathe.
Drip
Drip
Drip
But how does one escape something that they can't see?
Drip
Drip
Drip
Was he trapped? He couldn't remember. How long had he been here?
Drip
Drip
Drip
Did it really matter?
Drip
Drip
Drip
Suddenly he crashed into the surface. The surface of what? He didn't know. An endless cacophony of clashing melodies rang inside his mind.
He screamed, pulling at his hair. Someone was grabbing him, their hands were cold.
He fought back fiercely, he wasn't going down without a fight.
How had he gotten here?
He could vaguely recall someone calling out to him.
"Peter~!"
It was playful, he recognized her voice. She was the light of his life. He loved her.
He loved her.
He loved her.
He loved her. He loved her. He loved her. He loved her. He loved her. He loved her. He loved her. He loved her. He loved her. He loved her. He loved her. He loved her. He loved her.
He hated him.
He remembers her calling out to him. It was urgent. Less playful.
Then all he remembers is pain.
He could faintly hear the dripping, but he realized it wasn't dripping at all.
It was a beat. A heartbeat.
Drip
Drip
Drip
It was still annoying.
Drip
Drip
Drip
Why was it slowing?
Drip
Drip
And then there was no more dripping.

Susie, internally: I love the way the light shines on his hair. It's so beautiful.
Darius: This show is really cool!
