Read the A/N for a suprise ;)

Peter had reflexively ran to the tower, and panicked the second they walked inside. "Why are we at Stark Tower?" Tom asked.

Peter ignored him and tried to think of a way to get out of this. He could just say he made a wrong turn but that doesn't explain why he walked in.

"Hello, Peter." Friday greeted him.

Peter's anxiety spiked and he desperately looked around for someone else she could've been greeting. Alas, the only people in the lobby were Tom, the receptionist, and himself.

"Uh, hi Fri." He mumbled, giving up. He was aware of the fact that Tom was staring at him like he had suddenly grown a tail, but chose to ignore it for the time being.

"Master Stark has been wondering where you went. He's been worried sick."

"Stark? As in Tony Stark?" Tom asked incredulously.

"...there are two of you." Friday said. Peter sighed. "I will not ask, I'll hear the explanation when someone asks about it."

"Thanks, Fri."

The elevator door opened and Tom and Peter walked inside. "Okay--"

"Don't." Peter interrupted him before he could ask. "Just don't say anything, okay? I'll explain later."

"Where are the butto--"

"What floor would you like to go to?" Friday asked. Tom jumped and rose his fist like he was going to punch someone.

"Did you interrupt him for the sole purpose of getting his reaction?" Peter asked Friday.

"Perhaps."

"Take me to the floor that Dad is on." Peter hummed. Tom nodded in understanding.

So Peter's dad worked here, huh?

The elevator ride was spent in silence. Peter was anxiously fiddling with the sleeves of his shirt, and Tom was just vibing.

The elevator doors opened to reveal the common room, with Tony looking underneath the couch for Peter. He turned when he heard the elevator open.

"Underoos!" He exclaimed. "Where have you been? I've been looking...for you..." He stopped as he approached and saw there were now two Peters.

"Dad--"

"Okay," Tony pinched the bridge of his nose. "What did you do?"

"I swear it isn't my fault!" Peter exclaimed. "He already looked like this before I met him!"

"Mr. Stark! I'm Tom Holland, I'll be working with you on Civil War." Tom reached for a handshake

"You're in Civil War?" Tony mumbled, shaking his hand. "As who?"

"Spiderman!"

Tony laughed so hard he almost broke a hip. "You're playing Spiderman?!" Tony asked loudly.

"Is that hard to believe?" Tom asked, slightly offended.

"No no, it's just that--" Tony snorted, and quickly began to compose himself. "Why didn't they just hire Spiderman?" Tony asked.

"We have no idea who he is, so they just hired someone who could impersonate him." Tom shrugged.

Tony stared at him, before bursting into laughter once more. "This is amazing!" He guffawed, having to grab onto the couch to keep himself from falling over.

"I don't understand, what's so funny?" Tom asked, tilting his head.

"I'm gonna tell him." Tony smirked at Peter.

"...fine." Peter sighed.

"Well, Tom darling, Peter here is ACTUALLY Spiderman." Tony ruffled Peter's hair.

"...huh?" Tom mumbled. "What? I don't believe you." He crossed his arms.

Peter stared at him blankly, before jumping up and sitting on the ceiling.

"Oh." Tom mumbled. "That's...horrible!"

"I know right! If you play me in the movie, my identity could be discovered!"

"Not that." Tom shook his head. "If you reveal your identity then people will think I'M Spiderman!" Tom cried. "And then I'll never catch a break!

"That's what you're concerned about right now?!" Peter asked incredulously.

"Sorry, your things sucks too, I guess." He shrugged. "Like, 'oh no, I'll become rich and famous! Woe is me!'" Tom crossed his arms.

"Hey! If the kids from my school found out I was Spiderman, I'd be harrassed by my classmates all the time. I can't have that."

"Are you fucking kidding me?!" Tom yelled, startling both Tony and Peter. "Your peers would be so impressed! If anything you'd become super popular! And don't you dare go on a tangent about how 'I'd lose myself to popularity' because I swear you wouldn't! Hell, you'd probably have such a good effect on your peers!"

"I--" Peter began.

"He's probably right, kid." Tony shrugged. "Maybe this is the universe telling you to stop being a chicken and tell the world."

"Well, tell the universe to mind it's own damn business." Peter seethed. "I'm not having my identity, which I've worked for a year to keep mind you, blown out the window because of a fucking movie!"

"Oh! Speaking of the movie, Tom, let me hear that Spidey impression." Tony turned to Tom, ignoring Peter completely.

Tom took a deep breath. "Just your friendly neighborhood Spiderman!" He said in a voice that was identical to Peter's.

"That's...scary." Peter shuddered.

"Thank you!" Tom beamed. "My vocal coach trained me to speak in a Queens accent!"

"How'd he know I was from Queens?" Peter narrowed his eyes.

"...the accent. Obviously?" Tom mumbled. Tony snorted.

"So this is the part where you switch lives for a day." Tony shrugged. "Like in The Princess and the Pauper, Phineas and Ferb, The Princess Switch, The Princess and The Popstar--"

"Why were two of those Barbie movies?" Peter asked.

"Morgan. Why do you KNOW that two of those were Barbie movies?" Tony retorted.

"He's got you there." Tom shrugged.

"I...can't answer that question." Peter looked away. "Anyways, how are we going to deal with this?"

"Hire another actor maybe? I hear Andrew Garfield auditioned as well." Tony shrugged.

"But--I auditioned!" Tom cried. "I really want this role!"

"Then what do we do?!" Peter exclaimed.

"Peter, just man up and reveal your identity."

Darius: okay, no, what the heck, I thought we were gone

Susie: yeah but the author missed us

Darius: I didn't like the spotlight I just wanted to clean--

Susie: that's great because we won't show up as often! We'll be here for QNAs and our chapters and occasional after oneshot snippets but that's it!

Darius: so....I don't need to try and look perfect before every chapter?

Susie: nope!
