Years ago, Jughead and Jellybean were taken to Toledo with their mother, Gladys Jones. It was caused by FP's drinking problem and departed the living family. A secret exposed FP to lose his kids.

As of now, FP Jones sobered up and has been trying to contact his ex-wife over his visitation rights with his kids.

Jughead is the age of 16, FP hasn't yet forgotten his son's age. He's missed him with all his heart and only wishes to see his kids again. It had been rocky without them, making him realize that his kids were way more important than a stupid drink.

Today, Jughead lost his dad. He didn't know what happened. He was old enough to know his dad had a drinking problem. It was also the day Jughead left his friends behind. He left in the middle of the night without a single goodbye. He only wished he could've said his goodbyes to his friends and dad.

He could vaguely remember what his father looked like. Although he did remember his dad's laugh and he loved to talk about his time being in a band called; the Fred-heads. His dad told he was god-awful but it was only for fun.

He walked in from school, eyes hooping for a sight of his dad in his chair. His dad wasn't here. Why? Because he is dad was back home.

"Mom!" He called from the front door, scoping the dingy apartment. His mom could only afford a one-bedroom apartment, meaning him and his little sister had to share a room, while their mom stays on the couch.

"Oh heyyy, Juggghead." His mom appeared slurring her words from the corner.

He tried not to let his smile fall off his lips," I mad—"

"Your father called begging for me and you kids back!" He was cut off by his mom's slurred speech.

His face instantly lights up," Dad called?!" He questions his mom excitingly.

Gladys glares her eyes," We're never going back."

"Never?" The little boy's face crumpled with confusion.

Gladys steps forward and snaps," Never! You hear me?!" The boy shakily nods his head. "Good! Now wash up for dinner!" She orders and he does as he's told.

A knock at the door causes FP to slip out of bed and race to door. When he opened the door his smile fell from his face. "FP, why the glum face?" Alice asks looking down at his face.

FP explained his wife took his kids and went to Toledo. Alice couldn't believe what she heard. She tried to make him feel better by a small gesture. A hug.

Of course he takes the gesture but it feels odd. They broke up years ago and she's married and so is he.

"She'll come back, I'm sure of it." She says before she hands him a card.

He turned it over, reading as she slipped out the door. It read: Alcoholics Anonymous. Meetings on Fridays from 2-7pm.

Hmm, he thought to himself. Should I go? Yeah if I want my kids back. He will wake up early tomorrow. He wants to prove that he can handle his kids.
