Chapter 24.

ETHANS POV:

Brai and I hop off the bus and are walking down the street. I can just see Holly's car pull up out the front of our house. I see the familiar figures of Holly and Paisley getting out the car. I swear I can see another person there too, though? By the time Brai and I get to the house, they are already inside. My head is filling with curiosity as we walk up the steps. I knock on the door because I didn't have my keys and Paisley opens it straight away.

"Baby, I have someone for you to m-" Paisley laughs but then stops when she sees Brai.

"I have someone for you to meet too." I laugh as i gesture to Brai. Brai gives a small wave and gives her a quick smile which she returns.

"Let's do this inside, it's going to rain." Paisley says. She turns around and disappears down the hall and up the stairs.

I just turn to Brai and he gives me a little smirk and eyebrow raise that's meant to mean; 'oh, well done. You got yourself a good one' or something along those lines.

"Ten out of ten, bro." Brai says under his breath as he walks past me.

I shut the door and walk down the hallway with this stupid blush on my face. I get this every time when someone tells me how good Paisley is. I find Paisley in her room along with the other girl I saw before. I'm just glad my mind wasn't just playing tricks on me, there really was another girl. When the girl sees me, her eyes light up with excitement a little. I can tell she is a fan.

"Okay, Ethan, this is Cat. Cat, this is Ethan" Paisley introduces with a perfect smile on her face.

"Hey," Cat and I say at the exact same which causes Paisley and her to burst into a fit of giggles. I think there's an inside joke somewhere there. I must've been looking at them weirdly because Paisley filled me in.

"Don't worry, just an inside joke from today. Anyway, who's this?" Paisley giggles.

"Oh right, this is Brai. Brai meet Paisley. Paisley meet Brai. And Cat, Brai, Brai, Cat." I introduce, that was a mouthful.

"Hey," Brai says to Paisley and Cat.

"Hey." they look at each other and both reply at the same time which sends them into another uncontrolled fit of giggles.

"Hey! Do you guys want tacos for dinner!?" Holly calls from downstairs.

"Tacos?" I ask.

"Yeah, sure." everyone agrees.

"Yes thanks!" I call back.

We sit on beanbags and get to know each other more when the doorbell rings. I stand up slowly and go to answer it. Holly probably didn't hear it over the massive amount of sound she's making in the kitchen right now. I open to door to see Chris. He sees its me and drags me out the front door, closing it behind me.

"Dude, I'm so stupid!" He whisper-yells. He sounds really stressed.

"Wait, calm down. What happened?" I say in the same hushed tone. I have no idea why we're whisper-yelling, But I think it has something to do with the fact that Paisley's window is just above us.

"Grace's birthday was today! I didn't even call her!" Chris almost screams. He's still whisper-yelling so it's a little weird.

"Oh god, well it's only 6. We can go surprise her or something, just say you wanted her to think you forgot so it would give her a bigger and happier surprise?" I offer.

"That's not all true.. God! I feel like the fucking worse fucking boyfriend fucking ever, fucking hell!" Chris States. He looks like he's about to cry or punch himself in the nose.

"No, no, no, come inside. Paisley, Brai and Cat will help us form a plan, okay?"

"Who's Brai and Cat?" Chris asks.

"Brai is my opening artist and Cat is a new model Paisley met today." I explain as I turn around to open the door. Great, It locked behind us.

I think one of the most embarrassing things ever is locking yourself out of your own house. Especially when you didn't even leave the veranda. Another really embarrassing thing is having to ring the doorbell on your own house. But I do. Paisley comes to the door and cracks up when she sees us.

"Wow, locked yourselves out. Hey Chris- what's wrong..?" Paisley starts but sees how upset and angry Chris is with himself right now.

"Secret meeting in your room." I say as we walk back into the house.
