PAISLEYS POV:

They're finally letting me out of this place. Jai's been here every night, but I make sure he goes home to eat and to get changed. When Jai's not here, I talk to Holly. I like that time because Jack and Rachael come along and I can have some entertainment. They moved me from the ICU to the mental health ward. I've been getting counselling and I have to admit it's helping. The mental health ward is much more quiet, and I'm not connected to drips. I'm on depression medication and I have to have one more drip before I go home. I'm fully dressed but I am waiting for my doctor. I can't leave until I have this final drip. I don't know what it's for, but it's going to take an hour. The doctor walks in and smiles at me like the first day. Silently, he rolls up my sleeve and pressed the needle into my wrist. I wince from the pain but Jai squeezes my ankle from the end of the bed, letting me know he's there.

"Feeling alright?" He asks.

"Yeah." I nod.

The doctor tapes it down and leaves the room.

"One more day before Ethan." Jai says, sliding his chair up the side of the bed.I sigh as he fills me in on all the latest gossip around.

An hour later I watch the final drops drip down the tube and into my arm. I've started to go a bit loopy from this one.

"Alright, how are we feeling?" The doctor asks, taking the needle out my arm.

JAIS POV

"Great! Like a giraffe in a mud bath! Wait, silly me. That's not right is it?! Like a pig in a mud bath!" She giggles, leaping off the bed and grabbing her bag.

"Then you're all ready to go." the doctor says. She beams up at him and starts to skip around the room.

"Yay, yay, yay! I'm going home!" she sings loudly.

"She's going to be a bit loopy for a few hours, then she will just fall asleep. When she wakes up, she will be normal again." the doctor says quietly to Holly and I.

"Alright, Paisley, you're going to be discharged now." the doctor let's out a small chuckle.

"Discharged? I didn't know I was charged! We're all those cords chargers?! Am I like a phone!? Ring ring!?"

"No." the doctor says, shaking his head and looking at the ground.

"I'm superman!" Paisley yells, doing the superman pose, pausing dramatically for effect and running straight out the door into the wall.

"Ow! Who put that wall there!?" I hear her say from outside.

We all laugh and decide we should probably follow her. She literally skips down the hallway in front of us, waving her arms around like a lunatic. I get my phone out and record her. This could be great for later. She skips past a table of magazines and stops. She picks one up and rolls it up.

"I'm a unicorn!" She yells, holding it above her head like a unicorn horn. We make our way to the front desk and Holly goes and signs some papers.

"Hi!" I hear a voice say from across the waiting room. I turn to see Paisley annoying some man trying to read his newspaper.

"Hey! I'm talking to you, don't be rude!" She says. The man gives her this death state and tells her to go away.

"Oh! A staring contest! I can beat anyone!" She squeals, bending over and making this really funny face. The man just rolls his eyes and goes back to reading his paper.

"Ha! you blinked!" she yells, dancing around the room like a ballet dancer.

"Hey Jai!! Do you think I should take up Ballet!?" She asks, turning around and falling flat on her ass. I manage to get her out to the carpark without her damaging anyone or anything.
