PAISLEYS POV:

On the ride back to Grace's, Grace sits in the back and tries to distract me the best she can. She tries to tell funny stories and avoids the subject of The Voice, relationships or anything that could tie back to Ethan in any way. I am really thankful for her, she's always such a nice and caring girl with a bubbly, bright personality. We pull up outside the big two storey house and all get out the car. I trail behind Grace and Sarah as they walk up to the front door. I follow Grace around because I don't know what to do or where to go.

"Paisley, you can stay in Grace's room or you can have the spare room. Whatever you want." Sarah tells. I am overwhelmed by the generosity of this family.

"No! Paisley can sleep in my room and we can all have a girls night!" Grace exclaims excitedly.

"Well, okay." Sarah shrugs as we walk up to Grace's room.

Two bottles of nail polish remover later, we all have perfectly painted nails. We kept laughing and smudging our nail polish everywhere.

"Was that the doorbell?" Sarah asks randomly.

"I don't know, I'll go see." Grace shrugs as she gets up and leaves the room.

"So, do you work?" Sarah asks, trying to make small talk.

"Um, yeah. I am a model for model co." I explain.

"I knew it! You're really beautiful by the way, you have the best body I've seen In a while. Just thought you need some compliment boosters right now." Sarah says. I can't even explain how much I like this family.

"Thank you so much, it really helps."

"Uhm.. Paisley?" a voice says from the door. I look up at Grace as she steps aside revealing Chris.

"Paisley! Ethan is so worried! Oh my god I need to call him. Be right back." Chris says as he pulls out his phone.

"No!" Sarah, grace and I yell at the same time.

"Why not? He needs to know you're safe and coming home." Chris asks.

"I'm n-not going home." I stutter, trying not to let the tears fall.

"What?" Chris asks as grace grabs his hand.

"Why not?" He adds forcefully.

"He c-cheated on me." I cry, not being able to keep in the tears.

"No.. He wouldn't have. He loves you too much for that, I can see it." Chris says, but it sounds like he's talking to himself, trying to convince himself it's not true. Just like I did, but failed. I just shake my head because I don't want to cry anymore.

"With who!?" Chris asks. I can see him tensing up before Grace wraps an arm around him and he relaxes a bit.

"Some girl called Chloe. There were dirty texts on his phone this morning. She didn't mean to see them, they were just.. There." Grace explains for me. I let my hair fall out of my bun and in front of my face.

"Please don't tell him where I am." I say.

"He will want to know.." He starts.

"Please, Chris!? Promise me you won't tell." I plead.

"Okay, for now I promise," Chris says. "And I don't really plan on seeing him any time soon now."

"Thank you."

"I can't believe it. That's not right, I don't believe in that kind of stuff. I didn't think he was that kind of person." he says as Grace leads him down to the floor where he sits in the pile of nail polish remover covered tissues. I just shrug and wipe my cheeks. Chris' phone goes off and as he pulls it out, he frowns at the screen.

"Ethan." He greets through gritted teeth.

"I don't know." Chris says.

"Maybe you should ask Chloe!?" Chris says rather loudly as he hangs up the phone.
