Chapter 105.

PAISLEYS POV:

Walking back home with Jai and Chris has made me think. I sort of want Jai and Chris to tell Ethan where I am. Maybe I don't have to go to him, maybe he could come to me. I don't know, but what I do know is that we're almost home, and Anna is about to have a fit.

We walk up the driveway and I almost laugh at Jai and Chris' faces. They seem like they're in just as much awe as I was when I first saw it. I ring the doorbell and hear heels clomping against the floor. I forgot we were going out for dinner.

"Ready?" I ask, turning around to face Jai and Chris who were standing behind me.

"Wait, hang on." Jai whispers, side stepping quickly so he's hidden behind the wall. Chris does the some for the other side. Suddenly the door opens and Anna's smiling face appears. She was dressed in a casual but nice blue dress. Her hair was straight and looked flawless.

"Aww, why are you smiling so hard?" she laughs when she sees my face.

"Hey, Anna.. I have a surprise for you." I say, trying not to laugh.

"What?" She asks.

All of a sudden, Jai and Chris jump out from behind the wall, making Anna's eyes go wide with surprise.

"P-Paisley.. t-that's j-Jai w-w-" she stutters, going into absolute fangirl mode.

"Hey," Jai smiles at her.

"Hi, I'm Chris." Chris beams at her.

"I-I know who you are." she says, out of breath. That's a tad creepy.

"Paisley, w-why didn't you warn me? I w-would've made myself look so m-much better" she continues to stutter.

"You look amazing, can we come in?" Jai asks. Anna's eyes look like they're about to jump out of her head.

"Of course." she says without stuttering.

"Khloe! We have visitors!" Anna shouts, starting to get over her shock.

I close the door and walk through into the lounge room where Jai and Chris are already making themselves comfortable. I hear Khloe's footsteps coming down the stairs.

"So, how old are you?" Chris asks Anna.

"I'm seventeen." she replies nervously.

"Hey, don't be nervous. We're all friends now." Jai reassures her. I can practically feel and hear her heartbeat from where I'm sitting next to Chris.

"Heyyyy- oh my god." I hear someone say from my right.

I look up to see Khloe, her jaw dropped and staring right at the four of us.

"You must be Khloe, I'm Jai." Jai says, smiling at her. They really do have to smile a lot.

"I know! Anna is obsessed with you. Yeah, I'm Khloe." she says. I feel for Anna right now.

"Khloe." Anna warns under her breath.

"Well.. We are going out for dinner tonight, do you guys want to join us?" Khloe asks. Anna stares at them with anticipation.

"Thank you, but no. We have to get going in an hour, there's not enough time to do it properly, but we definitely should another time." Chris says.

"Perfectly fine. Paisley?" Khloe asks. I know what she's meaning.

"Is it okay if I stay with these two?" I ask hesitantly.

"Sure, we'll be back by eight." Khloe says, smiling at us. Anna doesn't move but continues to stare at Chris and Jai.

"Anna, we're leaving now." Khloe says through gritted teeth, walking over and grabbing her arm.

"Right- well.. I'll see you guys again... I hope." she says to Jai and Chris, getting dragged out the room, waving like an idiot. Once we hear the door shut, we all burst out laughing.

"Awww," Jai says.

"Oh my god, are you guys thirsty? Do you want anything?" I ask.

"Um.. Could I just have some water or something please?" Jai asks.

"Of course, Chris?" I ask.

"No thank you." he says as I get up.

I walk into the kitchen, grab a glass and fill it with water. I walk over to the ice dispenser and let a few ice cubes fall into the glass. As I'm walking back out, I swear Chris and Jai were on the phone, but I can't be sure. They shove something in Jai's pocket and Jai grabs the water from my hand.

"Thank you." he says, taking a sip and placing the glass on the coffee table.

"I'm just going to get changed." I announce, running upstairs.

I change into denim shorts and a plain black tank top kind of thing. I slip off my shoes and take my hair down, brushing it out. I make my way back downstairs and sit on the couch again.

We start talking about Jai's next tour and upcoming music. He says he's working on a new EP but he's not meant to announce it to the public. He's not doing any tours this year, but he's been signed on the waiting list as a supporting artist for 5 seconds of summer next year, and I reckon that's fucking amazing. I check the clock and see that it's been forty five minutes. The air is filled with silence while we think of a new topic. I feel a phone vibrate from someone's pocket and don't think anything of it.

"Paisley, do you want to see Ethan soon?" Jai asks out of the blue.

"Seriously." Chris adds.

"More than anything." I reply honesty.

Jai and Chris look at each other, but the doorbell rings. Maybe Anna and Khloe are back early. I get up and walk slowly to the door, opening it to the biggest shock of my life.
