BRAIS POV:

It's not fair. How come I never get the girls? It's always been like this. I always fall for my mates girls. If it works out good for me, then whoever's ass got dumped, hates me. I just ended up keeping it to myself from then on. I can hear Paisley and Ethan whispering to each other, but I can't work out what their saying. I want a relationship like that, I want a relationship with Paisley. They are definitely not breaking up any time soon, so I guess I'll just have to forget about it. I know it's time to get up, but I honestly don't want to. My stomach has honestly healed quite a bit overnight from the medication the doctor prescribed me. It still hurts, but you can't see the bruises so much as clearly. I honestly wanted to help Paisley, that guy holding her back was about to strike back at her. He could've broken her back by the angle she was laying on the ground. I took the blow for her, and she didn't even realise. I can't just walk up to her and be like 'oh hey, I jumped in front of you so you wouldn't get hurt, love me instead'. She's already incredibly hurt. I hear footsteps by my bed and suddenly a blinding light fills my eyes. My eyes meet Paisley's who is laying on the bed opposite. She quickly flicks her gaze to the floor. I'm aware Ethan's looking at me, so I roll over so I'm facing him.

"Time to get up, we have rehearsal." he says, folding the whole blanket up into the top bunk so I can't pull it back down.

Ethan kneels down next to Paisley and starts talking to her. I watch in awe as she kisses his nose, giggling a bit. I'm aware I'm staring, so I grab my towel and toothbrush then head down to the shower.

The shower on the bus is terrible. It's got a four minute limit and it barely gives you enough water to not freeze to death. Not to mention if the bus is travelling and you go over a bump. I've been sent flying a few times.

PAISLEYS POV:

Once Brai and Ethan have to go, i begin the short walk back to the caravan. The truth is, i didn't tell Jai I was staying with Ethan. He doesn't know what happened yesterday, or that I went to hospital. Thinking about it now, that was probably a bad move. When I arrive at the caravan, I don't see Jai. I go to walk in and pray he's asleep or something. Maybe I could sneak into bed and delay the lecture for a few hours. Nope. I can't do that. The second I set one foot in the caravan, I see him. He's staring at me with this look on his face.

"Where have you bee-?" He says loudly but stops when he sees my arm. I'm tempted to turn and run, but I know he will catch me. I also know my knee wouldn't be able to handle it. I close my eyes for a few seconds, gather my thoughts and walk in. I sit down on the other side of the little table and try to look sad and ashamed of what I'd done.

"Firstly, I'm going to ask where you were last night." Jai starts, leaning forward on his elbows to stare at me.

"I was with Ethan on the bus." I reply, staring at the table.

"And I'm going to ask what injuries you have." he continues, saving the worst question for last.

"I've fractured my elbow and my knee is incredibly bruised and needs to be rested so that it can heal." I answer quietly.

"What about your eyes?"

"I think that's obvious." I reply, having the nerve to look up at him, but not for long.

"What happened, Paisley?" He sighs, leaning back against the chair. This makes me feel a little less interrogated.

"Jye punched a guy for saying something and it escalated. Ethan's got a broken nose, Brai has a bruised up stomach and Jye has broken ribs. He's the worst, they think he might've punctured a lung." I reply.

"Is Jye still in hospital?"

"Yeah. We haven't seem him because he was under anaesthetic." I reply.
