I blushed badly when I saw him. He was wearing a black tuxedo and a tie that matched the burgundy in my dress, we didn't even plan that. "You look beyond gorgeous Vi." I blushed even more, "And you look beyond handsome Ric." He smiled as he gently took hold of my arm, "You ready, my queen?" I grinned, "Why, of course my king." And with that, we left.

"So will you please tell me where we're going now?" Ric practically pleaded, making me giggle. "Calm down babe." I entered the address into his phone. "God, I can't get over how gorgeous you look." "Oh stop it." He chuckled, "I'm being serious. In my, now, 31 years of living, I have never seen a girl so unbelievably gorgeous." I giggled, "I love you Ric." "I love you too Vi."

When we arrived to the restaurant, Ric gasped. "Vi.. what's this?" I smiled as I unbuckled my seatbelt, "This, my love, is only the beginning." He grinned as he hopped out and opened my door for me. I swung my purse over my shoulder and grabbed his present then looked up at him, "You ready for the best night of your life?" He gulped, "Ready as I can be." I gently took hold of his hand and walked in.

"Good evening, welcome to Alexander's. Do you have a reservation?" The hostess greeted us. "Yes, it's under Saltzman." I spoke up, the hostess smiled and grabbed some menus. "Right this way." She led us to a secluded part of the restaurant, we were totally alone back here. Ric sat directly across from me, I could tell he was amazed. "What would you like to drink?" The hostess asked. "I'll just have water." I answered. Ric ordered the same. She wrote it down and walked away, leaving Ric and I alone.

"How?" Ric looked around, holding my hand across the table. "I have my ways." I giggled. "God, I love you Violet." "And I love you Ric." He leaned over and kissed my cheek, making me blush.

We looked over the menu while we waited for our drinks. Eventually a waiter brought them over. "Made up your minds?" I nodded. "I'll have the New York strip." Ric ordered and I asked for Alexander's Dinner Salad Vinaigrette. The waiter wrote it down and left.

"So what's in the bag?" Ric peaked over, being adorably nosey. "Your present. Do you want it now or after we eat?" "Now." I smiled as I handed it to him. He wrapped it slowly then pulled out the velvet box. He looked confused, "What's this?" I grinned, "Open it and see." He covered his mouth as he opened it. "Babe..this is an 800 dollar watch... how?" "I have my magic. Turn it over." It was the Movado fusion Swiss bold black ion-plated stainless steel watch. Ric listened and did. "Love is power. I will always love you. Yours until the end of time, Violet"

Ric put it on immediately, then got up and hugged me close. "I don't deserve you Vi." I smiled as I held him. "I guess it's your turn now." I was confused, "Ric?" He softly shushed me. I watched him.

"Ever since I met you, I knew you were the one for me. Call me crazy all you want but I fell in love with you very hard and very, very fast. You brought light into my total darkness. You showed me a side of myself that I had kept hidden for years but never for a second did I feel judged. Your smile is so bright that it makes the sun seem dim. Your laugh is music to my ears and I can't help but smile whenever I hear it. I love you more than words will ever be able to explain, no matter how much time I have to do so. So, Violet Summer Evans, will do me the honor and marry me?"
