Since Ric was still upset about Hayley, he stayed home with me. We spent most of the morning laying in bed talking about wedding plans.
"How many people do you wanna invite?" Ric asked me as he rubbed my belly with one hand. "I don't have many family members who still associates with my parents and I. So the only people I can think of are my parents, Sarah and Elijah." Ric jotted that down on a pad of paper. "What about you?" I inquired. "My parents disowned me when I started drinking and my sister hates me ever since I flirted with her now ex best friend. The only person I can think of is my old college friend, Damon."
"What's Damon like?" "Basically your stereotypical bad guy." I giggled, "Gotcha." I took the notepad away from Ric and laid him down on his stomach. "Vi, what're you doing?" I giggled as I started massaging his body, he was so tense. "You need to relax, honey." I kissed his cheek as I continued to massage him.
After releasing the tension in his back, I rolled him over and did the same thing to his legs. He was completely relaxed by the time I finished. "Thank you." He smiled as he pulled me close to him. "You're welcome hon."
Ric was grading papers while I made him a snack. It was shredded cheese crackers, my dad would make them often. "There you go." I kissed the top of Ric's head after setting the plate down. Just when I was about to walk away, Ric grasped my hand and pulled me into his lap, making me blush and giggle. "What was that for?" He grinned as he kissed my cheek down my neck. "Ric.." I breathed out, looking at him. He pulled away and smiled at me. "I love you." I kissed him.
There was no words to describe the amount of love we had for each other. He was my eternal love and I was his. Nothing could ever tear us apart, not even Hayley.
