Chapter Thirty

~ A month and a half later~

"Alright Ms. Evans, you ready for your check up?" My doctor walked out into the waiting room where I was. I had to go alone since mom had work. "Yeah." I sighed, getting up and following her back. She checked my height, I had apparently grown an inch so I could finally say I was five feet. But my weight stayed the same, 105 pounds.

Afterwards, we walked into one of the room and I sat on the bed while she asked me the normal questions.
"How's your anxiety?" "I've got it under control. My boyfriend has helped me with that." She smiled, "How long have you guys been together?" "Four months but it feels like much longer." She grinned more, "Are you sexual active?" I nodded. "I hope you guys are being safe." I chuckled. "When was your last period?" I had to think about it, my cycle was pretty pretty regular but just to be safe, I checked my calendar. Two months ago.

"That's weird. My cycle has always been normal." I said, looking at the screen. "That is odd." My doctor remarked. "I'm not stressed and I haven't had anything interfere with my cycle. What's wrong with me?" "I know you said you've been using protection but are you sure you did recently?" I thought back to that night.

Just to be safe, my doctor ran an urine test. It took a bit for it to analyze. I waited anxiously for the results.

"Are you ready to know?" The doctor asked, opening up the information in the computer. "Yes." She clicked a few things and typed a bit. "Positive." "Yes. Positive." She looked me dead in the eyes and said the words that would change everything. "Um, Violet, honey. You're pregnant."
