While we waited for the taxi, I looked up at Ric. His blue eyes looked like the ocean. He caught me staring at him so I quickly glanced away. "Vi?" I was playfully hiding my face, "Hm?" He gently removed my hands from my eyes and kissed me.

It was our first of many kisses on our honeymoon. I loved how protective he was when we would kiss. He would physically hold me close to prevent anyone from yanking me away. He always knew how to make me feel loved beyond measure.

The taxi arrived about ten minutes later and we were on our way to the hotel. "So what brings you to Germany?" The driver asked, he had a very thick German accent. "Our honeymoon." Ric answered all of the questions. "Ah, I see, congratulations. Your wife is very beautiful." I blushed. "Yes she is." Ric smiled at me, making me blush more.

The ride to the hotel was pretty uneventful and short. It was about 10:30am by the time we finally got to our hotel room after checking in and everything. I looked over at Ric, he was staring out our giant window. "I need to get into some comfy clothes." I said as I dug through our suitcase. I found my leggings and a light weight sweater so I put them on.

Ric smiled at me as I threw my hair up into a messy bun. "What?" I giggled when I caught him looking at me. He walked over to me and lifted me up onto the bed so I could look him in the eyes. "Hi gorgeous." He stroked my cheek, making me blush. "Hi."

He locked eyes with me, my heart raced. Before any words were spoken, we kissed. As we kissed, my knees buckled so Ric carefully laid me down on the bed. He held me close after our kiss as we both fell into a peaceful nap.
