When the bell finally rang signaling me that it was my free period, I hobbled to Ric's classroom as fast as my shattered ankle would allow. I didn't trust myself with crutches and my doctor didn't think I needed a wheelchair.

When I got there, I knocked on the door. He saw me instantly and opened the door. No words were spoken when he closed the door behind me and kissed me just like we had 5 hours ago. His warmth around me was everything I needed in that moment.

The kiss went on for several more seconds. "Hi." He blushed, as did I. "Hi handsome." He gently walked me over to an empty seat and sat beside me. I looked at him as he softly stroked my cheek. "I meant what I said earlier by the way. I can't wait to be yours."

I smiled, "Then what are we waiting for?" His eyes widened, "Are you serious?" I rubbed his hand, "I've never been more serious about anything in my entire life." He lit up like a Christmas tree before kissing me. "Then let's send those invitations today." Ric replied. "Why not now? We just have to be sneaky." He grinned, "Let's go."

Ric sped home safely and carried me inside before grabbing our stuff. Within twenty minutes, the invitations were filled out and in the mailbox. Afterwards, we got to actual planning.

We decided to keep decorations to simple flowers and fairy lights, we would write our own vows, find an officiant then get our wardrobe ready. Since we both couldn't wait, we made the date for the 24th, which was two weeks away.

Just as I was getting up to get my phone, our baby girl kicked hard, making me audibly say ow. "You okay baby?" Ric asked, concerned. I nodded, "I'm fine. Our baby girl just kicked." Ric got up and hugged me before kissing my stomach. "Just four more months then we finally get to meet you." He grinned.

Seeing him this excited made me feel so much better and I couldn't wait to say I Do in two weeks.
