~ Four years later ~

"Are you sure mommy? What if they don't like me?" Ric and I knelt down in front of our four year old bundle of joy. "Willow Skye Saltzman, you are the sweetest little girl in the world. If they don't like you then they're idiots." Ric stroked her cheek as she giggled. "Can I kick their butts?" I chuckled knowing she was joking, "No you can't baby." She looked down but Ric and I hugged her tightly. "We love you so much Willy. Now go show those preschoolers who's the boss." Ric kissed her forehead. "I will! I love you mommy and daddy." She hugged us tightly before running into the busy and very noisy classroom.

Ric had helped me up. "You sure she's gonna be okay, Vi?" He held me close as I looked up at him. "Of course she will be. She's a Saltzman." Just as we turned to leave, we heard a voice. "Wait!" We stopped and turned around. Our little girl came running towards us, arms spread out as far as she could. "You forgot this." She plowed into us, giving our legs the biggest hug she could.

We held her close until her teacher had called her back. "Willow, it's time to color." She gasped happily, "I'll be right there Ms. Kara." Ms. Kara nodded and walked back into the room. "Bend down pretty please." Willow commanded us playfully, Ric and I didn't question it so we did. She gave us each a massive kiss on the cheek then she kissed my stomach. "I didn't forget about you Bradley." She giggled as she hugged us one final time before joining her classmates.

I looked over at Ric as we walked out of the building. He stopped to look at me, "You okay Vi?" I threw my arms around his neck, "Absolutely. I love you so much Alaric Saltzman." "I love you so much too Violet Saltzman. Thank you for making my life everything I dreamt of. You're absolutely amazing. Here's to our perfect little forever." I smiled and giggled as he kissed me passionately at the top of the steps.

So much had changed these last few years. Willow was a happy and thriving four year old. Ric was still teaching history at Mystic Falls High and I was a junior in college dual majoring in English and History while five months pregnant with our newest addition, Bradley Dean. Sarah and Elijah got married and were expecting their firstborn. Life wasn't exactly picture perfect but it was really darn close. I wouldn't have changed a single thing.
