By the time we finished eating, it was time to go home. "Hi Violet?" Ric looked at me as I threw our trash away. "Yeah?" "Come here a sec." I obeyed and walked over to him. He was looking out the window and gently took hold of my hand. I looked up at him, "What's up?" He smiled at me, "You don't need to worry about us. We're gonna be okay." My eyes glistened, "You promise?" "I promise." He gently kissed me, making my heart flutter. "Now hurry home before your mom freaks out on you." I nodded, "I love you Ric." I smiled as I packed up my stuff. "I love you too, Vi."
"Hey, you okay? History was hell today." Sarah looked at me as we walked to the car. "I'm more than okay." Which was true. "Okay good. Why was Mr. Saltzman staring at you though?" I gulped, time to tell her. "I actually met him a few days ago." Elijah perked up, "Where did you two meet?" I answered that it was the library. Sarah grinned, "You mean, the library where magical things happen?" I felt myself blush, "That would be the place." Sarah giggled, "You have to text me the details later." I sighed and chuckled. "I will. Don't worry."
After dropping me off, Sarah and Elijah went to the library to study. So I went upstairs and changed. I threw on a grey cropped hoodie and my favorite bright blue leggings along with my slippers. My phone went off a few moments later.
Ric: I didn't tell you this but I'm really glad you're in my class
Me: Why...?
Ric: I have an excuse to look at a gorgeous girl every day.
I blushed and squealed at his response.
Me: Ric!
Ric: I can't help it. I love you
Me: I love you too. Are you sure we can make this work?
Ric: I'm certain
We texted until my mom yelled at me when she got home. "Violet get your ass down here now!!" Oh no..
