Chapter Fifty Two

Hayley and her friends ended up getting into a lot of trouble for attacking me so they weren't in school. I was pleasantly surprised that she didn't tell everyone that I was pregnant. When Sarah saw my cast, she freaked out. "Violet, what the hell happened?" "You know Hayley from our history class right?" Sarah nodded, "Yeah, why? Oh my, God did she do this to you?" I explained everything that happened, afterwards she hugged me. "I am so sorry, V." I smiled, "It's okay. I'll be more okay once I get out of this cast." Motioning to the large cast on my left ankle, it was a good thing I couldn't do gym.

During history, all I do was look at Ric. He looked so worried about me, more than anything I just wanted to hold him and tell him that I was going to be okay. Since we had a lot on our minds, he didn't give us a ton of work. He just made us read chapter eighteen. After we finished, he let us relax for the rest of the period.

After I finished, I started to listen to music when Ric texted me.

Ric: I can't wait anymore

Me: What do you mean?

Ric: I need to hold you every night. I don't know if I can wait to marry you

Me: Ric..

I looked up at him, he smiled the smile that made me fall for him. I had to restrain myself from kissing him.

Ric: I love you Vi. I can't let you go, not after what happened

Me: When class ends in ten minutes, all I can say is be prepared

Our eyes met, they were kind and gentle. I loved him so much. The bell rang ten minutes later and remained in my seat until everyone left. Ric locked the door and looked at me. "What was I preparing for?" He walked over to me.

When he got close enough, I carefully pulled him down and kissed him with every fiber of my being. His lips collied with mine, it was like there were fireworks in our mouths. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he held me. Tears pooled in my eyes before the dam burst. The kiss lasted for two more minutes.

"Vi..?" His voice was breaking, I looked at him. "Yes?" He held me very close. "I love you Violet." "I love you Ric." For the next ten minutes Ric held me in total, peaceful, love filled silence.
