THIRD PERSON P.O.V. (More so following Law)

Traveling out in sea for over a year with his crew, Trafalgar Law thought not many things could surprise him anymore. The Grand Line was vast, and it often went against the law of life. Law knew anything was possible, as much as he wanted to deny it. He had quickly learned anything was possible, and he wasn't taken back that easily.

While the young captain liked to be on track, he knew flexibility was a trait he needed to have to survive at sea when it could throw a curveball he wasn't expecting.

Outlook D. Clementine was precisely that.

Law admits, at first, he had brushed aside her wanted sign the delivery bird dropped. While he did admit her first bounty was unexpected from someone coming from East Blue, she wasn't someone he needed to keep an eye out for.

Or so he thought.

The next time he saw her in the newspaper, he couldn't help but raise a single eyebrow up in surprise. She was seen traveling with the Red-Haired Pirates.

And from there, Law decided perhaps she was more than a merely pretty face as he had first thought. Since then, he began to keep a tab on the blonde female, making sure to tell Bepo to bring him the newspaper if his first mate caught sight of her in it.

Law couldn't help but feel his interest piqued. Every time he saw her in papers, she didn't disappoint him. While she didn't take drastic actions to destroy towns or damage the military expenses like the others from the worst generation, the mysterious female's bounty continued to rise steadily.

She was already in the New World in less than a year, and she was seen traveling with not one, but two Yonkos. What kind of power she had, Law didn't know. And he hadn't expected to see her before he entered the second part of the Grand Line.

So when he had seen her in Sabaody, he was eager to see what she was capable of doing. But he admits he would never have thought their first meeting would be at a slave auction where she was being sold. And if anyone had told him that he would try to buy her, he wouldn't have believed them.

So many things had happened that day, from finding out the mysterious woman had a connection to both the Dark King and Straw hat Luffy to getting chased by the admirals in the area. But nonetheless, Law had been satisfied that he witnessed Outlook D. Clementine's ability in combat. She wasn't bad, keeping up with them all with no problem.

But out of all the surprises Clementine had caused Law, the biggest would have been at Marineford when the said female lost control of her hidden power, revealing to the world she was indeed a Devil Fruit user. Even as they were desperate to escape the battleground with Luffy in critical care, Law had stayed until the last moment to witness the Grimsouls tear apart the remaining marines in sick fascination.

When he had later read that Red-Haired Shanks had taken her away, Law didn't think he'd see her for a while. Like everyone with a decent working brain, he felt the young woman would keep a low profile after gaining attention after the war. So he was pleasantly surprised when she had personally sought him out, reaching out to him for an alliance, something he agreed on after finding out what she hid from the world.

The ability to bring back the dead.

Law was intrigued, and there was no denying he was extremely entertained with the younger girl's presence on his submarine. He wasn't quite sure when he had been this eager to wake up in the morning just to see her irritated side glance when he spoke to her.
