Meliodas had fallen victim to Merlin's experiments before. Whether because of an accident or her devious tricks, however it had never been something like this...

The blond had woken up in the same bed, at the same time, with the same person lying next to him, just like every other day. However as he stretched out and realized he was on four legs with a mirror revealing black fur, two ears and a tail, he knew that today would not be like any other day.

It was quite shocking to the leader of the sins at first, after all, he looked like a cat! But soon the feeling changed to annoyance and a bit of anger as he realized this was because of Merlin.

He couldn't remember an instance where she could have done this intentionally- like slipping something into his drink or food- so he assumed this was another accident, or he at the least hoped so for Merlin's sake.

Trying and failing to walk on his four paws, he gave an annoyed sigh before deciding he would need a bit of help.

Looking over at the sleeping beauty next to him, he began walking (more like stumbling) on her stomach towards her face so he could attempt to wake her up for some assistance to his... dilemma.

"Meow."

Nothing in response. Not even a stir.

"Meeeeoooooow."

Nope, just a shift onto her side, forcing him to fall back onto the bed. Realizing that meowing wasn't going to be enough, he gently poked her face with his paw, purring as she responded by giving his head a few pets.

That feels really nice.. I like getting attention from her. Maybe I can get her to pet me again if I- No! What am I thinking! I need to go see Merlin to try and fix this pr-aw-blem. Great, now I'm making cat puns.

Rubbing his face against her cheek in apology for what he was about to do, he got out his claws, and plopped down onto her leg. Just enough to shock her awake, but not actually leave a mark.

She sat up instantly and gave a confused look around the room. No doubt looking for Meliodas. After a few minutes and the tiredness leaving her eyes, she looked down at the small cat with a puzzled frown. Something he found absolutely adorable.

"Hello little kitty. How did you get in here? Did we leave a window open?"

"Meow. Meeeeeow. Meow." (No, I just got turned into a cat because of Merlin's stupid experiment.)

She gave a small smile at the little thing, and gave it some head pats as it continued meowing.

(Listen Elizabeth, I know you can't really understand me right now, but I need you to take me to- prrrrr.... that feels really good. Right behind the ear. Prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....)

He continued to lean into her touch, reveling in the feeling of the pets and attention.

Ya know, maybe being a cat isn't so bad.. I'm getting pets, attention, I'll get fed and cuddles from Elizabeth since I already know she's an animal person.

Feeling tired, he walked over to Elizabeth with a little less difficulty than before and curled up against her, enjoying being so close.

Minutes passed where they just stayed like that, before the girl said something that snapped him out of his daze.

"You are such a sweet little kitty. I wonder where Sir Meliodas is though. Maybe he will let us keep you."

Jumping up as he remembered his previous plan, he began meowing like crazy at her to try and get her to understand the urgency. Dodging every time she tried to pet him or hold him to calm him down, knowing that if she did he wouldn't want to do anything again because of the attention and cuddles it would result in.
