The day started like most for two brothers on a Saturday. One was enjoying their day off of school while the other did the same for work.

Neither did much of anything as they each had their respective nothing to do. Eat, watch shows, play games, etc. However the day that had started so casually would be one that would change both of their lives forever...

Getting annoyed as the ringing of the phone didn't stop and was interrupting his game, Zeldris yelled for his brother to come pick it up while he continued trying to demolish the boss he was fighting.

Estarossa walked out a minute later, slightly annoyed as his own activities were stopped.

Picking up the phone, he said the usual hello, having no idea how this one call would change everything.

A minute passed and Zeldris paid no mind to the unintelligible words coming from the phone. That is until Estarossa said a shaky goodbye before dropping said item..

He paused his game before giving his brother a worried look.

"Esta, you okay?"

His brother didn't say anything for a moment before he muttered something Zeldris couldn't make out.

"What was that?"

"We... have a brother."

His emerald eyes shut quickly in a blink of surprise as he tried to process the unexpected words.

"Wh-What? What are you talking about Esta, we're the only family we ha-"

"We... have a younger brother on out father's side... he's turning eight today..."

Zeldris stared at his brother in shock. He looked for any indication that his brother was messing with him or joking around, but none was there.

"You... You can't be serious right? Is this a joke?"

"I swear. That was uncle Cusack informing me about it. He says that our father didn't want him to tell anyone about the boy but he decided we should know and decide for ourselves if we want to be involved or not. Apparently the boy knows about us from old photos and has wanted nothing more then to meet us for years now."

His mind was spinning and he could tell the same applied for his elder brother too. He had a brother. He had had a baby brother for eight years now and he hadn't known about it.

The ravenette had always wanted a younger sibling. Someone that could look up to him as he had done to his brother, Someone he could teach things to and someone he could play his games with since his elder sibling had no interest. He had yearned for it for years, but after their mom had passed he had no hope of it and slowly the desire faded. Until now..

"What's.. his name?"

"Meliodas."

Zeldris felt nervous butterflies triple in him as he sat in the car with his headphones on. They were driving to the address Cusack had said the party was at and it was about a three hour drive. 

Neither of the boys had seen their father since they were very small. Zeldris didn't even remember what he looked like. However they hadn't gone back to him after their mother died as they had heard stories as well as seen (in Estarossa's case) how abusive he was, so Esta got a job and did his best to scrape together enough money to support the two.
