Zeldris was mad, no.. mad was an understatement. He was absolutely livid at his supposed parents. It wasn't a secret that he had anger issues, however they had grown exponentially over the last year. Getting to a point where fights with students and flat out ignoring the teachers were common occurrences.

They had talked to the boy, begged him, taken him to counselor after counselor, and even put him on medication, however nothing changed. He ignored their pleas, blew off the counselors, and dumped the medicine down the toilet when they weren't looking. It was beginning to get too much for the poor couple, and soon they saw no choice but to send him to his aunt's house for the summer.

It was a difficult choice, but they believed it would help the boy to get away from his normal routine. Or so they told him.. He knew the real reason they sent him away. They didn't want him. He always felt like an outcast in his family, even before his attitude towards them started and he was a happy and innocent child. However he knew the truth now... why he felt like that....

His thoughts were cut off as the car had come to a stop and he was now staring at the greens of the countryside. Trees and plants as far as the eyes could see, nothing like the grey and colorless place of the city. Although he never minded it, all of this green made him want to throw up.

Watching as a cheery women came out of the small cottage, he sighed and prepared for the hell to come.

Let's get this over with..

He stepped out of the cottage with his arms crossed, clearly giving off an energy of don't talk to me. However the women didn't seem to notice as she gave him an unwanted hug.

"Oh look at ya! You've gotten so big! Your mum hasn't brought ya here in ages! You're so tall! Oh we're gonna have so much fun this summer! Don't ya agree?"

He squirmed his way out of the hig before saying he was going to go unpack, confusing the women with his rude leave.

He could hear the two talking as they no doubt discussed his "behavior" amongst themselves. He decided to ignore it to go unpack in his new room.

It was small and covered in dust, but he supposed that just completed the horrible day. After all, why on earth would something go right for him? Nothing had in the past so why start now?

He laid down on his bed with headphones on, only to groan in pain at the creaking wood and mattress as hard as rock.

Great, just great. Oh look, no cell service either. Perfect, fucking perfect.

Soon his so called mother entered the room after a quiet knock, giving him a warm smile that he ignored even when hurt filled her eyes at his reaction.

"W-Well, I'm headed off. I have to work tomorrow and it's a long drive back. Just thought I'd say goodbye. Are you sure you'll be okay on your own?"

No response, yet again. However regardless of the fact that he turned away he could tell by the shakiness in her voice and the aura surrounding her that she was incredibly hurt and sad, but he didn't care. It's not like it was genuine anyway.

Taking a deep breath as a wave of exhaustion hit him, he decided
to take take nap. It's not like there was anything better to do in this place.

"Zeldris dear? Dinner's done! Just thought you'd want to know hon."

He rolled his eyes and scoffed at her sickly sweet voice. It probably was fake too, just like his "mother."

Sighing as he stepped out of his room, he sulked on his way down the stairs in a usual manner, not oblivious to the look his aunt and uncle gave him before sharing one between themselves.
