Estarossa was getting sick of the routine he had fallen under. His daily schedule consisted of at least two pranks, a million insults, same quantity of stares and glares, and a few hits or trips that often left a couple bruises.
No matter what he did, or how hard he tried to recreate his image, the same damn bullies would come after him again and again. The reason having nothing to do with him... but having everything to do with his little brother, Zeldris.
You see, when Zeldris was four, he had gotten in a really bad accident, along with their parents who had been driving him to the park that day. A drunk driver had come at full speed from the side of them, killing their parents, and wounding the child heavily. He had several bones broken, and a loss of hearing that was supposed to be temporary.
And yet here they were ten years later, his hearing still gone, and an awkward personality to only make things worse for his older brother.
You see, Galand, Melascula, and Daneri, didn't make fun of the younger child due to a rule of suspension or even being expelled for bullying someone with a disability, but that didn't mean they couldn't go after the older brother instead for the same reason they would go after the younger.
And they did, again and again and again, to the point of the boy starting to hate his own brother, just like they did.
He was jealous of his sibling for not having to deal with this, and angry by the fact that he did. Why couldn't his brother just be normal? Than none of this would be happening.Sighing as he got out of the car to head to the place he dreaded once again, the teen took slow sluggish steps. Ignoring his younger brother's goodbye entirely.
Just make it through the day... make it through the day..
_________________________________________Zeldris was very confused right now. He didn't think he had done anything wrong, but his brother kept giving him dirty looks and ignoring him.
At first he thought that maybe he was imagining things, but from the look Meliodas had on his face, it seemed he wasn't the only one who noticed.
Seeing the frown on Zeldris's face, Meliodas shot him one of his typical grins and signed to him.
Don't worry Zeldris, I think Esta is just tired. I'm sure he'll feel better tomorrow after a good night's rest.
The boy gave his sibling a small smile at his attempt to cheer him up. No matter how bad the situation, Meliodas would always do whatever he could to make it better. Even after the accident and he couldn't speak, instead of shutting down due to the loss of his parents, the teen dedicated himself to being the best big brother he could be.
He would cook, clean, work, learn sign language so he his brother wouldn't feel alone, and even after all that, still have time to play super heroes or whatever it was the boy wanted to do back then.
It was nice, having such a good family supporting him through this. But.. he had a feeling that it wouldn't last much longer... at least, not in the same way.
I'm sorry everyone! I was planning on making the full chapter of this, but a wave of exhaustion decided to hit me like a ton of bricks so this will only be a preview for tonight. This was requested by TaizaiAlchemist who is a wonderful writer that you should check out stuff from. Hope you guys have a good night and I will upload the full chapter of Something Taken; Something Lost tomorrow.

Oneshots!
FanficA bunch of oneshots that I've been wanting to do! They will not have any relation to one another unless the story is a 2-5 part story. The stories will also have a possibility of becoming books later on if people enjoy the story or I feel like there...
