So in this, Meliodas and Elizabeth have a bond that allows them to feel what the other is feeling, and hear what the other is thinking. Also this will not be accurate to the original story. That's why it's called fanfiction. Hope you enjoy the story.

Elizabeth's morning started like most others, her rolling out of bed, going to the bathroom four times trying to put on her maternity clothes, and attempting to waddle down the stairs as her large stomach protested the movements.

Due to her being nine months pregnant with one week to the birth date, she had gotten used to frequent contractions, however her water breaking and the baby trying to ninja kick its way out of her uterus, was new.

Meliodas had barely left her side all throughout the pregnancy, based on his previous fears and just general protectiveness of her, she understood why he acted that way. However she was now kicking herself in the butt for getting annoyed with it and asking him to go into town to get some new clothes for her, because now no one was in the tavern to help her with this... predicament.

Doubling over in pain she tried to control her breathing so she could think of some way to contact Meliodas.

Oh! I can contact him through our bond!

She felt a little silly for not thinking of it earlier, but supposed the fact that a watermelon was trying to squeeze out of her made it acceptable.

She contacted him through their bond before taking several deep breaths to try to keep herself calm. It wasn't even a minute later that the door burst open and a very concerned Meliodas ran to her side.

"Oh wow! The baby is really coming! Does it hurt? Of course it hurts, that's a stupid question. Does it hurt more than it should though? I mean, I'm not exactly sure what this should be feeling like but I've heard mom's have a sixth sense of sorts. Does it feel like something's wrong?"

He continued rambling on and on until he finally stopped when she shot him a glare.

"Right, sorry. Let's get you to the doctor. Can you stand?"

She tried to get up and cried out in pain, alarming her still very freaked out fiancé.

"Ya know what, walking is overrated, come here sweetheart."

He scooped her up as gently as he could and sped off to to the hospital.

The nurse instantly took her into a wheelchair and told him to stay in the waiting room. Something he protested greatly.

"Do you seriously expect me to stay here while the love of my life is screaming out in pain!? Let me go back with her!"

"The men have to wait out here. It's policy."

"That's bullshit!"

"Cap'n. Let them go."

He turned around to see Ban standing there.

"How can I just sit here while she's screaming bloody murder!"

"She'll be fine Cap'n, she's a lot tougher than she looks. You of all people should know that."

"But-"

"I-I'll be fine Mel.. Just stay here. The next time we see each other it'll be with a little bundle, okay?"

He gave her a worried look, but complied, giving her one last kiss on the head before she went.

"I love you Ellie... You can do this, kay?"

She nodded before they wheeled her back into the room. Screams following.

He sat down while Ban did the same, every time a new scream was heard Meliodas would tense up and tighten his grip on the chair he was in, this pattern repeated several times until the arm of the seat split into smithereens. He didn't seem to notice though.
