Oneshots!

#78 Curse Switch Oneshot Request.

Two versions of this will be done because I've had two different types of requests for this. However this one will be a baby Meli with Elizabeth. This one was requested by IOnlyWantToRead1.

Elizabeth had gotten used to the endless strings of reincarnations she had to deal with, however the one thing she could never get over was how absolutely adorable toddler Meliodas was.  He was much more affectionate and lovey then that of Meliodas three thousand years ago, and she always adored his constant want for cuddles with her.

It was like he could sense that she was someone close to him even as a little one with no concept of love or what they had experienced together.

Oh and he was so incredibly sweet too. One of the reasons she had fallen for him originally, and something that was much more allowed in his life now that his father's influence didn't snuff out that compassion he naturally contained.

"E-Ewwie!"

She looked down at the little boy with blond hair and beautiful emerald eyes staring back with an adorable little little pout as he held his hands out to her. All the while clinging to a little chocolate bar she had given him a few minutes earlier.

"You want me to pick you up little one?"

Her voice gentle and soft as she leaned down to him, he instantly nodded and clung to her as she did as he requested.

Re-adjusting him to make him more comfortable, he immediately laid his head on her chest and starting purring, a trait he always had in each of his lives and one she found so cute!

I wish we could just stay like this... Me getting to watch you grow up again into the strong person you always become.. But it's too dangerous you being around me. Not only do I have a lot of enemies... but I also can't risk you remembering again.. Which is why I have to take you to the orphanage tomorrow. I hope you can find in your heart to forgive me for this someday my sweet Meli... and please don't ever lose that compassion.

Several years had passed since that day Elizabeth had dropped him off, however as expected, a hole in her heart was left by the experience. Of course she knew they would inevitably meet again, but she still missed him dearly in their years apart.

Although... just because her heart ached, didn't mean she was ready to see him again after only ten years later, making him twelve.

Getting a knock on her door, she was curious as to who it could've been since she lived in the woods and hadn't been expecting anyone. After all, with her goddess magic but human appearance, she had earned a reputation in this time of being a witch that the villagers stayed away from. Which was a good reputation for her considering her life of solitude she currently lived in trying to find a way to end her love's curse.

Answering the door with magic at the ready, she was stunned to see a child there with several wounds and bruises, tears streaming down her little face.

"Wh-"

"Please! It's my brother! You have to help him! These bad people hurt him after he tried to protect me and he's not waking up!"

Worried, alarmed, and enraged as to who could've hurt children as young as them, especially since this girl was only seven or so, Elizabeth lept into action as she raced after the girl demanding she follow.
