Highly requested by lots of people so here it is! Also don't mind the picture, I just like it. (:

No one could move, no one could think. Their captian had been coughing for a few days but they didn't think it was this bad, they should've paid more attention. How could this happen to their strong captain?!

He had stumbled downstairs with a glaze over his eyes before passing out in the middle of the tavern, and no one knew what to do until Elizabeth acted.

"S-Sir Meliodas! Sir Meliodas wake up!"

She was on her knees next to him trying to shake him very gently to wake him up, but to no avail. His breathing was shaky, his skin hot, and weird patches of darkness flickered across his skin.

After a few moments, Diane left with tears in her eyes to go get Merlin as the others did various tasks to help out as well.

King went to get get a wet rag to help cool him off, and Ban looked through their medicine cabinet for anything that might help.

"Don't worry sir Meliodas, you'll be okay. I promise!"

He barely stirred as Elizabeth ran her hands through his hair to be of comfort, and her heart pounded wildly in fear.

Would he be alright? What kind of illness did he have that could affect him so severely?

Her scattered worries that increased her anxiety were cut off as Merlin barged in.

"I heard everything from Diane. Let me have a look at him."

Elizabeth moved back as the mage stepped in and looked over their leader carefully.

"I see... so that's what's going on."

No one understood her comment as they tried to wait as patiently as possible for her to reveal what she knew.

"Ban, carry the captain to his room. It's alright to move him, he's not physically injured and it's impossible for any one of us to end up with the illness he possessess."

Doing as she said without question, Ban gingerly picked up the limp leader with fears of his own going through him.

In all the time I've ya Cap'n, you've never gotten sick. So if this knocked you down so easily? I don't know what it could be... You better pull through, Cap'n.

He set the blond down on the bed carefully before him and the others were asked to clear the room so Merlin could do her best to find out how bad this was.

She waited until the door was fully shut before using a spell not quite perfected to give him a small boost of energy. Just enough to wake him up.

"M-Merlin... what happened?"

"You passed out. I fear you have Vlakenada. The symptoms match up too well for it not to be."

"S-Shit..."

"We both know that it will continue to get worse without a cure until you and your demon half become delirious and begin attacking out of instinct."

"Th-Then I need to *cough* find th-the cure."

"Absolutely not. You're already with fever and passed out due to this. You're in stage two, if you try to even so much as get out of bed right now it could push you into stage three and you'll likely end up injuring the sins and Elizabeth."

"W-Well than what am I supposed to do? If I sit here I'll go into stage three, and you say I'll speed it up if I try to move."

The mage was silent for a moment as she tried her best to figure out how to approach this... delicately.
