The stunning girl before Meliodas yelped when he picked her up to carry her off to the Ten Commandments base, yet she made no attempt to leave his grasp. In fact, she gripped him tighter once in the air; something he found strange considering goddesses flew even more often then demon's
themselves.

Perhaps she's a descendant of one. Or she can tell we're mates as well? I didn't know the other races had similar breeding systems, but she hasn't fought me at all. In fact, I haven't been able to make out much of what she's said since the wind is so strong at the moment, but I've heard her mention my name a few more times. She keeps using the honorable as she's does so too. So much respect from a goddess... she has to know. It'll be good if she does, make this next part easier.

Not as soon as he would've liked, the two landed at the demon's grand castle before he carried her inside quickly and into his quarters. He didn't want his brothers seeing him doing this considering he hadn't finished his mission yet. They wouldn't take too kindly to him finding his mate in the middle of a war, he was sure of that.

After entering his room, Meliodas shut the door before swiftly taking her to the bed and plopping his mate down.

She yelped again when he did so before that adorable little blush crept up once more as he slowly joined her.

"S-Sir Meliodas, is everything okay? Y-You're acting so s-s-strange.."

She became more of a stuttering mess the closer he got to her, while he had a smirk on his face from satisfaction caused by the reaction.

I think I get it now... She's heard of my reputation. Even a fan of it if the honorifics have anything to say. How unexpected from a goddess. Although, perhaps that's why she's my mate.

Enjoying the little squeak that left his mate as he finally reached her and nuzzled his head back into her neck, he decided to respond to her. His voice husky and low from both his mark and the new instincts rising in him.

"So you've heard of me. Apologies if I disappoint based on my reputation at the moment, I'm not quite myself around you, mate."

"W-Wha... S-S-S-Sir M-M-Melio-odas-s.."

He hummed happily at hearing those words leave her lips yet again as his own felt temptation to begin kissing her neck where her scent was the strongest.

"What's your name?"

His voice was a low, gentle, growl as he continued ravishing the skin near him when asking his question. Although, she didn't seem to mind. She squirmed and seemed incredibly flustered and out of sorts by what he was doing, however she didn't pull away. Instead slowly relaxing more and more before tentatively, resting her hand on top of his head with incredible gentleness.

"E-E-Elizabeth. D-Don't you r-r-remember me, Sir M-Meliodas?"

He paid little attention now to what she said, just hearing her name and that sweet way she said his. He couldn't get enough of it. Enough of her scent, her touch, her voice. It all felt so enchanting, so... familiar.

Feeling nostalgic as he was entranced by her more and more, Meliodas gently pulled back from her neck and held her head in one hand while the other lifted her chin to look at him.
