Zeldris watched in horror as white covered the memory. Caused by enough arcs to destroy several red demons at once. Of course, logically he knew Meliodas- or at least what was left of him now- wouldn't be killed by this, but that didn't mean he wouldn't be horribly injured. And of course, it also didn't mean that the Meliodas the Ravenette knew wouldn't die in this memory either. Along with whoever he killed along the way.

Things moved too fast to be able to react after that, and the scene was so bright as one word left their Mentor's lips that it was hard to see the events themselves. But the aftermath could be revealed once things cleared. The aftermath that left everyone watching speechless.

"Fire."

On cue the light brightened before it began moving towards the demon it targeted. Emerald eyes widened as they watched in horror over what began, and as the darkness next to Meliodas smirked devilishly at the events, its counterpart didn't match the look as the former goddess blocked his figure from the attacks by putting his arms over his face.

It was obvious by the stance that he had no intentions of countering the attack, merely taking it head on and hoping his life remained once it was over. Yet, regardless of this goal, something odd happened in the time when everything grew to be blindingly bright.

Something... unbelievable.

As each of the dangerous orbs flew towards Meliodas, they began to... change.

Their light slowly flickered and dimmed until eventually, the light faded altogether, and in its stead were streams of black as dark as night and as dangerous for the goddesses as the threat had previously been for Meliodas.

Everyone who saw the sight gawked in horror. Including the blond himself after his eyes finally opened when nothing had happened to him yet.

"Wh-What?"

A cruel smile formed on the darkness's face cloned from Meliodas's own. And as it spoke, a triumphant tone dripped in every word, even though only one should have been able to hear its gloating.

"I told you... I won't give up my new host so easily. Now, how does this new power feel? There's much more where it came from thanks to your bountiful supply."

"N..No! You said that you couldn't do anything without it being through me. But I'm not doing this! What have you done? Did you trick me?

"Oh, not at all~ True to what I said, I can't do anything without you, my precious host. And due to your current will to shut me out, I can only do what you allow. Which means... this was alllll you. I merely supplied the boost to give you these new tricks."

"But I... I didn't want to do that! I didn't even know it was possible to change light to dark!"

"Oh, it wasn't. Not until you~ You really are the most powerful I've ever turned before~ It's just a shame you won't give me more control. We could wipe out these ants in seconds if you'd let me take care of them.

"Not a chance! I'll never let you hurt them!"

A dark chuckle rang out as the next words spoken made all watching and involved remember what events were occurring all over again.

"Very well, but you'll find out soon that these bugs don't plan to show the same mercy. I gave you plenty to use against them when you wanted to be shielded from their attacks, all it will take is One. More. Command. and I'll wipe them out with those same reserves."
