This was inspired by a Tik Tok I saw on YouTube.
Meliodas couldn't wait until he heard the bell. Nor for the typical reason a teenage boy was anxious to get out of class, but because he had a job interview at one of the top places in his chosen field to get to after school.
He told his teacher about his goal to own a restaurant- even though his cooking was anything but good- and Chandler, being the awesome guy he was, managed to get him an interview at the Boar Hat so he could learn how to serve drinks, food, and get used to the environment.
He was practically shaking from a combination of excitement and nervousness. After all, if it didn't go well, it would practically end his career, but if it did go well, it would give him a jumpstart that would seriously help him.
Feeling the nerves double as he heard the bell ring, he decided to thank Chandler before leaving for home to go get ready.
"Hey, Mr Chandler?"
The green haired man looked up from the stack of papers he was grading at the boy and gave him a kind smile.
"Ah, Meliodas. Are you off for the interview?"
"Yeah, I'm gonna stop at my house first to get ready since I don't look very presentable in a hoodie and some jeans, but then I'll be heading over. All thanks you your recommendation. It really means a lot to me."
"Oh of course! You are a bright boy Meliodas, you'll do just fine."
"Thank you sir. Oh is that the time?! Sorry, I don't meant to be rude but I have to get going!"
The man just chuckled and waved him off as he ran down the halls.
Apologizing to a few students he bumped into, he finally made it out the doors and ran to his bike so he could get home quickly.
Crap! I'm gonna be late, maybe I should just head there. What's worse, being late or being dressed like an immature teen? Ugh, I'll just have to be quick!
Screeching to a halt as he arrived, he ran inside as the others greeted him.
"Hey Mel how was scho-"
"Sorry! Can't talk right now! Interview!"
"Really? I thought you weren't going."
"I changed my mind, you were right. It would be too good of an opportunity to pass up. Crap I'm late! Look, I'll tell you all about it later but I need to get going! Love you guys! Bye!"
He finished getting his jacket on as he practically leapt down the stairs.
They barely even said bye by the time he was out the door.
Okay, if I take a right here instead of a left I can save some time, it may be a little bit of a shady area, but I need the time so I'm not late!
Making up his mind, he sped down the path and continued his way to the interview.
_________________________________________Meliodas woke up the same as every day, the sun was shining, the birds singing, and he was feeling absolutely ecstatic to start the day.
He didn't really remember the interview very well, but he assumed it was because of how nervous he had been, he probably just blanked it out due to excitement and nervousness.
Stretching before standing up, he noticed that the room was a lot dustier then he had noticed previously.
Has it really been that long since I dusted? Well, I mean I've never really been one to notice things like this before so probably.

FanficA bunch of oneshots that I've been wanting to do! They will not have any relation to one another unless the story is a 2-5 part story. The stories will also have a possibility of becoming books later on if people enjoy the story or I feel like there...
