Part Ninety-Two 아흔이

Taehyung parks his car in front of a small house. He turns around to me and smiles a little. "Are you ready?" He asks. I take a deep breath before I answer him. "No, but let's go," I tell him. Taehyung smiles even more and moves his hand to my face. His hand touches my cheek and his fingers caress my skin. "I love you," he says, "No matter what happens."

My heart melts by his sweet words and his soft touch. "I love you too, Tae," I tell him, "No matter what." I lean in and softly press my lips on his. Taehyung kisses me back for a short time and then lets go of me again. "Let's go!" He says.

We both get out of the car and go to the front door of the house. Taehyung grabs my hand and I feel how his thumb caresses the back of my hand, what makes me feel a little calmer. As Taehyung rings the doorbell, I feel my heart beat in my throat. I look down at my dress again and check if it looks good. Or maybe I had to wear a different outfit? Maybe my outfit is to black and looks weird?

Taehyung looks at me like he knows what goes through my head. "You look great, babe," he says, "Don't worry." My eyes meet his and I see a small sparkle in his beautiful, dark eyes. I smile and feel my cheeks blush. "Thank you," I say.

The front door opens. A small woman with dark, short hair and dark eyes opens the door. Once she sees us, a lovely smile appears on her face. "You're here!" She says. "Hi mom!" Taehyung greets his mother. He takes a step closer to her and gives her a hug. His mom wraps her arms around him and hugs him back. "Hey honey! I've missed you so much!" His mom says. "I've missed you too, mom," Taehyung says.

He lets go of her again and looks at me. "Mom, this is Alyssa, my girlfriend," he introduces me. I smile and look at his mother. She looks at me with a wide smile. "It is so great to meet you, Alyssa! Taehyung has told us so much about you!" She says, what makes my cheeks blush. I smile and look at Taehyung, who has blushing cheeks as well.

I look back at his mother and laugh a little. "All good things I hope," I joke. "Of course!" His mother says. She pulls me in a hug and hugs me shortly. Even though I feel a little surprised by her gesture, I hug her back.

"Come in!" Taehyung's mom says as we let go. Taehyung and I follow her inside and we arrive in a small, but lovely kitchen. At the kitchen table, I see a man. He looks up as soon as we enter the kitchen and greets us with the same lovely smile as Taehyung's mother. "Welcome!" The man says and he stands up.

Taehyung greets him first and gives him a small hug. "Welcome back, son!" The man says to Taehyung. "Thank you! It is great to be back!" Taehyung says. Then they both turn around to me. "You must be Alyssa!" The man says, "it is great to meet you!" He offers me his hand with a kind smile. I shake his hand and smile back at him. "Great to meet you too," I tell him.

We all scare a little when we hear a loud bark coming from the other room. Taehyung laughs and starts to whistle. Within a second, Yeontan runs into the kitchen and greets us with another bark. Yeontan runs towards Taehyung and jumps up against his legs. Taehyung bends down and pets his head. "Hey buddy!" He says.

Then Yeontan runs to me. He sniffs my legs for a moment and it looks like it takes him nearly five seconds to remember who I am. When he does, he jumps up against my legs as well and barks happily. I kneel down next to him to pet him. "Hey boy! Great to see you again!" I tell him as I pet him. Yeontan jumps up towards my face and tries to lick my face. I giggle when he succeeds to lick my nose and wipe my nose. "Yes, I've missed you too," I laugh.

"I hope you're hungry," Taehyung's mother says, "Because I made pizza for dinner!" Taehyung looks a little surprised, but smiles wide. "Pizza? That is great!" He smiles. His mother smiles as well, "Yes, I thought that would be nice to eat." Then she looks at me, "I hope you like pizza. I first wanted to make a Korean dish, but I wasn't sure if you'd like that."
